@ravenvii While I climb up I will also take a look at either side if some mad goblin tries to cut off the bridge!

Perhaps that ominous rumbling sound is the unwelcome noise of rocks being rolled towards us……..
The bridge is a bowling alley and we are the pins?
the only thing we can say for now, is that there cannot be goblins on the bridge yet (unless they are invisible), otherwise we would see them. same for the bottom of the stream.
but they had a turn, so they are in play somehow.
however, since we don't see them, we cannot fight them atm
right now we have the Count and Portia on top, with Claus hanging from one of the two ropes half way, so the other rope is available for climbing.
if Veit makes it to the top, i think that Master fletcher's suggestion that syllin ties her up and we pull her to the top from above, is not bad, since I am next with nothing obvious to do (yet).
one possibility is that she tries to climb normally, if she succeeds she uses her action as a second move to get on top. if she fails se can tie herself as an action, so i can start pulling her up
we first have to see what happens with Veit's climbSounds like a good plan. Let us try to 'make it so'.
we first have to see what happens with Veit's climb
claus has managed to get half way up, but he can re-attempt to finish only at the next round. so we go before him.And the climb attempted by Claus, too.

You follow Portia up the rope --@ravenvii While I climb up I will also take a look at either side if some mad goblin tries to cut off the bridge!

You follow Portia up the rope --
*** CHECK ***
You have better athletics, so we'll use that. You have +4, so:
Veit: 10
Veit: 19
You make it to the bridge, no problem.

-- and meet Count Bartholomeus and Portia on the bridge.

Hey, what did I see when looking at the two entrances at each end of the bridge?![]()
Er, do I attempt to climb, or leap balletically, and snatch said rope hauling myself up, or tie myself to the rope, or what?
You don't see anything.Hey, what did I see when looking at the two entrances at each end of the bridge?![]()
Tie then climb.
how does that work?Tie then climb.
You tie the end of the free rope around your waist. Ensuring that it is secure --Very well then, I (will attempt to) make it so.
how does that work?
Since Syllin is so close to the bridge's ledge, the pull was relatively easy. You haul the elf onto the bridge. However, the rope is no longer balanced at both ends, and it shifted. Claus' end of the rope begins to slide down, taking Claus with it. Gravity brought Claus back to the ground, the rope pooling around his feet.i take hold of the rope syllin is tied to and attempt to haul her all the way up to the bridge

>>> @Moyank24 you're up!
>>> You're already on the bridge.Does this mean I can't climb up the rope?
