Currently looking to order a 27", got the 10% signup discount code and it looks like it won't apply to products like this that already have a discount applied. How were you all able to stack it?
Hmm when I ordered back in March, limited time discounts and coupons were allowed to both exist.

I have read a couple Alienware panels are no longer applicable for coupons, maybe dell added this to list as well?

I love this monitor with my 16" M1 Macbook pro, and also using it for my work laptop when working from home. Only dislike is the included USB-C cable is too short. Can anyone recommend a USB C cable 4-6 feet or 1.5-2m long? I tried one I had laying around for charging my iPad Pro, I get power delivery and USB keyboard and mouse on the M1 work, but no picture/display detected. So I'm guessing that cable is not up to spec for 4k/60Hz. The cable situation is pretty confusing with all the USB-C, thunderbolt, cables. Not sure what I even search for, do I need just 10Gb/s, 20Gb/s to get 4K60Hz and the prioritized speed for USB? Completely happy with how included cable works, just need 1 foot longer cable, so if anyone has a specific cable rec, much appreciated!

I just received a U2723QE today in the UK to replace my older Dell U2718Q. Have to say quite a gorgeous display. It does look almost the same as my U2718Q but better with more uniformity, better off-angle viewing with less colour shift and in general better colours and brightness.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but it works perfectly with Lunar allowing for full brightness control from macOS like a real Apple display would. Very happy :)

Now you have me nervous for my replacement out for delivery...I'm starting to think the flaps on the front that open out aren't deep enough to support shipping as is.

I almost think my open boxed missing item was shipped with only a singular piece of tape over the seal and sent it on its way.

Nice! Impresive they haven't corrected such a blatant problem in over a month. The one front flap cuts in and is barely an inch in depth, while the other side seemed deep enough to ship safely.

Whelp my saga ends here, mine came in perfect condition and no back light bleed. I can't believe some of the early images shared on here.

Will see how a full day of work goes on this hog tomorrow!

i did some testing, this unit has noticable bleed in the lower left and then lower right and upper right corners, two provided images are calibration related... I can't understand these numbers vs what dell claims.

Something is wrong with your profile. The gamut coverage is way smaller than expected, which should be around 98% for DCI P3. Double check the spectral correction used for the monitor backlight type.

Hi!

I currently hesitating between this monitor and an LG 32UN880-B. Both are the same price here. LG is 32 inches (I already have a 32 inches monitor to replace) and this Dell is 27 inches.
Would you prefer to go down to 27inches with this Dell or stay with a 32 inches monitor with the LG?
I do mostly photo editing and work stuff.

I have an older Dell 27" 4k monitor and I've been pretty happy with the size and text quality on it. Never used a 32" 4k, but I think for my desk setup the 27" is better for me

I'm thinking of replacing my aging ASUS PB287Q with one of these 27" models. I've tried reading through the thread, but at 29 pages it's not so easy to find some details.

I assume the hub portion of this monitor works as intended with the current MacBook Pros? One appealing aspect is replacing my Targus TB3 dock, freeing it and my ASUS 28" 4K display up for another desk setup in a different location.

I need my gigabit ethernet connection, and single USB-C connection. The display seems to have all the other ports I need for peripherals, so it would be ideal and a nice clean setup.

They're available for CAD$680 currently, which is tempting.

I just ordered it from dell.ca

I can't wait!

Review - OK I love this monitor! REVA01 FEB22

Only negative (and I am sure looking for them) is if I enable fast response within the monitors OSD, I get this green trailing artifacts when I move windows around on Mac, but not in while playing video. I turned it back off. Wonder who's to blame for that woe.

Also running 1080p UI. 1440p was a hair too blurry coming from a 5k iMac. After shrinking text, folder size and UI across board, its basically identically to my 5k iMac space and clarity wise. Sorta shocked how little I'm noticing the less pixel density.

Very happy camper.

Don't enable fast response! From my previous experience with Dell this never worked good.
Can you expand more on:
- shrinking text - you did this app by app, right?
- folder size - do you mean finder text size in view options?
- UI (particularly interested in this)

I am using my 32" at 2560x1440, but I had to adjust the font smoothing to 1 for text to look sharp.
Also, I have noticed text sharpness looks different on Intel Mac mini and M1 Mac mini, where the text is more blurry on Intel Mac, as if Apple intentionally did not improve their font smoothing algorithm on Intel. On the M1 Mac font smoothing 2 is similar to font smoothing 1 on the Intel, and on the Intel font smoothing 0 still looks like font smoothing is not disabled. Also M1 and Intel mini have different scaled resolution options:

Mac mini 2018 Intel:
1920x1080
2560x1440
3008x1692
3360x1890
3840x2160

M1 Mac mini:
1504x846
1920x1080
2560x1440
3008x1692
3840x2160

You did not mention if you got the 27" or 32"?

Good to know on fast response, thank you!

Text - yes, changed font size in messages and desktop folders. Set Safari to 85% zoom out by default.

Folder size - yes view options, shrunk icon and grid size.

UI - my adobe programs all let me shrink UI overall to match how it looked on my 5k iMac. The only app that is a hair too large is messages, and only the column on left side. The top menu on MAC OS is larger, but I kinda like that.

Oh its a 27"

Haven't messed with font smoothing, but love how sharp everything is at 1080 UI. Thought for sure I'd hate it. 1440p almost gave me a headache? Can't really put my finger on it.

Went into the advanced settings and turns out I'm running at 1440 on my ASUS display. Seems just fine to me at that resolution. I assume running a native 1440 display would not look as good as a 4K display scaled to 1440? Maybe I don't need a 4K display at all!

I just received my unit, and my calibration results are very different than yours.
