My card was charged

Well my card was charged this morning. Actually, I woke up and signed on like the freak I am, and my order status said ACTION REQUIRED. Apparently they had tried to charge my bank card but it needed me to authorize it.

I called Apple and changed cards, he said it went through, and it should ship within one to two business days.

For the record:

17" stock except for glossy screen
ordered Oct 25, 2006 at 06:39 AM PST

The claim was 7 to 10 working days since there was one holiday and a couple of weekends in there (eg not working days) the shipment went out 4 working days later than promised at the outside. Even so Apple did notify people of the delay. Frankly I do not understand the level anger displayed in this thread.:confused:

omg i hope mine ships...its supposed to ship today...*crosses fingers* i waited so long.

So the people who ordered on the 24th Oct will get theirs shipped today. And for those of us who ordered on the 30th Oct?

Surely if there's a lack of parts, once the parts are fitted then all the MBPs ordered between the 24th and 30th will get shipped at once?

When will it ship for us in UK?

i doubt mine will ship until 14th.

Although my email from Apple said shipping 13th, my order status says 14th, Not 9th - 14th like some peoples.

I did order on 24th, so wont be long!

I swear that fifteen minutes ago my order was still Not Yet Shipped, but now I've got a tracking number!
