Ditto. Mine's from the UK HE store (2gb, matte, 100gb 7200rpm). Had the horrid 16th email but order status still says despatch by 14th. No fair, no fair, no fair! Waaaaaa!!!

Finally an update on my Order Status and the one I was hoping for ;-)

Anyway, for Europe, Apple used to use 2 different carriers: 1 from China to Europe - Netherland (Kuehne+Nagel) and then 1 for the local deliveries. So for a while it should be expected that TNT (or any other delivery service) do not yet recognize the tracking number. Try http://www.apecode.com/appletrack/
If you have a merge in transit, it also has to "transit" through UK for the merging process.
Not sure if these info still apply though....

On the truck for deliver

The good news:
Arrived in Boston at 6:03 AM at Fed Ex facility and is on the truck for delivery.

The bad news:
My brother-in-law flew out to meet us at 6:20 AM EST this AM to sail with us in the West Indies and he supposed to have taken the 17incher with him. (Apple would not ship to the West Indies after the delay). Also customs fees are extremely high and packages are not always guaranteed to get out of customs.
So - the next visitors will not arrive until November 27th.
Not sure if this counts for REALLY REALLY SUCKS.

Anyway, will look for pictures and all of those positive reports, especially for the glossy screen.

My credit card charge finally did show up, and it was for the right amount with my $100 off and free shipping. However, my MBP is still sitting in IN. Looks like some of yours has made it out. I bet if I still lived in California it'd be on a plane... but even if I have to wait an extra day, the $60+ I saved in sales tax will go a long way towards food or something else.

We all got that hardhead. I think all it means is that FedEx doesn't count it as shipped for today, so as far as FedEx is concerned it's shipping on Thursday but it'll still move. I got the same message yesterday and today my package is somewhere in the US making its way towards me.

Looks like mine was at the local FedEx center at 6:30am today. That's about 2-3 miles from here. I'm not sure if it will get delivered today.

Unfortunately I'm going to be in meetings and such for the whole day anyway.

I don't have a clue as to why my package went to Mississauga, unless the flight from Memphis to Ottawa had already departed before 4:05am.

I routinely get packages in Ottawa via FedEx and they always make a straight shot from Memphis to Ottawa, rather than through the FedEx sorting facility in Toronto -- most recent example was an iMac I received last month, direct from Memphis.

I dearly hope that it takes flight from Toronto to Ottawa, and they don't stick it on a FedEx ground truck in Toronto. That's not what expedited shipping means to me.

*sigh*

I know that there are other Ottawans (and Montrealers) waiting for their MBPs today -- can one of them post their tracking info so that I can see if their packages also detoured to Toronto, please?

I got an update. At 2:03 it made it through customs, and at 2:41 it left Indianapolis. Why some of you got updates is beyond me. But then again, some of the updates posted were after 4 am. Maybe this puts me near the lead?

I did some digging and it looks like my MBP left Memphis to Salt Lake City and it landed almost an hour ago. I hope it comes today. That would give me time to set it up before going out of town tomorrow.
