spoke to Apple and i should have my MBP on 20th, i really wanted it on 17th - 18th but that is just being a bit optimistic.

I haven't received an update either. I called fedex and since it missed the cut off although it says left origin in the status it actually hasn't. There should be an update today.

I'm curious Sunmiester, on the FedEx page what does it show for your delivery date? Mine shows Estimated November 17th by 10:30am, but according to the latest information on the FedEx site it is at the Seattle sorting facility. I guess I'll wait another hour or so to see if it changes to "Out for Delivery", but I wonder if others that are receiving theirs today had the same estimated delivery date that I have.

it is, dare i say, scrumdiddlyumptious. i will always lust for the 17, but i am extremely happy with the 15. its going to take me the better part of a week just to get it up and running the way i like it before i can really test the hell out of it. but so far, so great.
we should all paypal $1 to the first person to post a set of 5 or more unpacking and running pictures of 17" MBP C2D

Mine shipped today for delivery in Belgium. No idea who has it or when I'm likely to receive it but at least it is out of the factory and the end is almost in sight.
Glad you're happy with it. Don't worry about the 17s. I love my 17, but when I fly I wish I had a 15. These are too big to use comfortably on a plane.
