I ordered early on the 25th.. and the fedex page says I will get it this friday 17 around 10:30 am!

mine showed up in Memphis just now...looks like it won't be til tomorrow
Yeah but if you look on flightstats.com, there is no scheduled flight from MEM to SLC tomorrow morning. There was one yesterday and this morning, so hopefully we'll be on that one tomorrow.

Well I got mine. So far it seems pretty good, although my Core Duo MBP seemed a lot brighter, and I see an off color bar across the bottom of the screen. I looks almost like a strange reflection. I didn't see this on my other MBP. I will have to keep an eye on it and make sure it isn't a by product of a glossy reflection or something.
I'm just getting ready to install BootCamp. It is going to be a fun day.

Appears that were all in the same boat, both in Ireland and the UK. Mine says exactly the same.
Wonder why yours is being delivered by TNT and my delivery company is UPS? Were both in Dublin.

It seems that US customers are actually receiving their 17" MBP's, congrats guys (?), but the earliest delivery date rumored for EU (and possibly the rest of the world) is 20th (with shipping starting the 15th).

My delivery status has changed from the 22nd to the 20th... Bet it there wasn't a dam weekend there we'd have it on Saturday or Sunday instead!
I received mine at 10:30AM in southern California. Great machine so far, only one flaw. I have uneven backlighting. There is one hotspot in the bottom right corner and streaks of unevenness up and down. So I will be getting this replaced in the next couple of weeks.
Awesome, it got delivered at 10:50 this morning. I was walking around campus ( I go to UCLA) and saw a FedEx truck and knew that my computer was sitting in the back of it.

.No, mine is still somewhere between me and the Ottawa depot. The FedEx status still doesn't reflect the fact that it is in Ottawa, but the CSR swore that it is in Ottawa.
If I don't get it later today, it will definitely arrive on my doorstep tomorrow morning.
Are you around the GTA? If so, I would have thought that GTA customers would have already received delivery (unlike myself in Ottawa).

Yup Iam, but mine shipped yesteday. I know another guy on the forums in toronto that got his shipped monday.
I just wanted to know whether the mbp will reach canada in 2 or 3 days. looks like id get it friday rather than thursday...but i can still hope =p

Though mine supposedly shipped yesterday, it's not scheduled to be delivered until Friday the 17th--that's with two day shipping. As of 3:25pm today, Fed Ex still has it hovering somewhere over Shanghai though: "Nov 14, 2006 9:06 PM Left origin SHANGHAI CN." Perhaps it may arrive tomorrow. Who knows.
What I find funny is the fact that my original build date was the 7th and ship date was the 16th. now it went to build date 14th, ship date 17th. but I received it on the 15th!! so technicaly they still delivered me a computer, even with a weeks delay, before the estimated delivery day. - and I didn't have to call Apple once! pretty hppy about that... nervouse about the build quality. I'd rather have received it a lot later than had it rushed out the door still hot off the assembly line with un even screen, whine, dead pixels, etc...
Okay, like many of you I will look back on this thread with bemusement. But until then...
Mine is in Memphis. While I'd like to go to Memphis one day, I'd much rather my MBP be here with me now.
