Well, I finally got to the mail room and picked up my MBP. It's my first Mac so I'm quite excited. As far as I can tell, there are no problems with the screen, the fans, or the temperature of the machine. So far so good!

Apecode doesn't work for me either.
Mine is shipped with TNT, and tnt's tracking shows this:

From what I have read for European orders it'll take 5-6 days transit. We're both in on the same plane so I see it playing out as follows: It usually sits in the European Distribution Centre for about 2 days. Then if you're lucky it goes to your country directly and then if you're really lucky the MBP arrives early in the morning and it'll be sent out on delivery then.
mine says the same thing, i read it as meaning it is on its way from Depot to plane

FedEx is toying with me.
They flew over my City a couple of times but landed in Cities 3 hours drive away. Darn It ALBANY, NY is the Freaking State Capital of New York. It should get some priority!

I ordered 26th October, changed order to glossy 1st Nov. Supposed to ship 16th (today) delivered 23rd, as yet I have to receive any form of notification from Apple as to when it will ship (status still says "Not yet shipped").
This sucks, this waiting game is making me neurotic. I blame Apple's non forthcoming nature for this.
Probably off-topic here, but I'm still waiting for our local Apple Premium Reseller to get the 15" MBPs so that I can buy the 2.33 GHz stock config. I put my name on a list there 1h after the MBPs got announced, but the endless waiting sooo uncool

I got the shipped email 2 days ago and all I can get from the tracker is that its still sitting somewhere in Shanghai, waiting for its plane. Thats an absolute joke! It also says that the flight TBA is 21st November ...which quite possibly means that it wont leave shanghai for another few days?
Anyone else getting theirs shipped via UPS-UK or Flextronic Logistics and noticing this???

I received my 17' stock glossy yesterday rom FedEx. Everything is fine.. no dead pixels, no uneven brightness, etc...I did the Mac to mac transfer and everything transferred as a clone of my PB G4...pretty impressive!!

I got a shipped email yesterday from Apple, but I can't get any further info. Apple's tracking page says:

And ApeCode doesn't work for me either. Did you have to ring Apple to get a TNT tracking code, macs4ever?
I don't know why I care so much - no amount of tracking is going to get it here any sooner!

Has anyone done an early pickup with FedEx? Mine was shipped 2-day but is taking 5 so I want to pick it up at the sort facility.
My order status still says "expected shipping: the 14th"
I ordered on the 2nd, and that has been the only shipping date I've seen. Didn't get any emails or nothing from Apple. I tried calling them and he wasn't able to tell me any more than what it says on the Apple website.
Have any of you experienced that the apple website didn't update even though it had already been shipped? (Long shot, I know...)

I went to the sort facility last night at 8:30 right as they were closing and they said it was there but they had no way to locate it. They did ask If I lived in Murray because a similar package was damaged in transit and had to be returned to Shanghai for replacement...sucks to be that person...
I'm home now waiting for it. They told me last night they'd hold it, but the doof working there didn't know he couldn't.

How do I know? I'm theoretically getting MINE next Friday and it seems like EVERYONE ELSE has, or is, getting thiers first!!!
So, for that reason, order now. Once I get mine all orders revert back to the normally quoted time of 7-10 business days, or whatever the Apple Store is saying at this point.
I don't think where you live makes a lick of difference, by the way, at least in regards to the continental US. You'll be waiting on the build time, not the shipping so much.

So, I called FedEx and asked if that means that I'll get my MBP today and the CSR said yes. So, I am now working from home (gotta love VPN access to my work network) so that I can sign for the package when it arrives.
My AppleCare arrived today via 1st class U.S. Mail so hopefully, the MBP that its for also arrives today.
