I will tell you what the street thinks about it

Now its either I believe a random user on a forum or the guy who is paid to keep the stock price high or I believe the analysts on CNBC. Such a hard decision to make
The street is using a different metric not a yoy percentage which doesn't refelect anything Useful. So not sure what you're are saying. Now do I believe a random poster or some semi-credible website?

They always do.

Best to ignore.

I'm here to talk about the technologies at hand. That's how I decide, per the thread, between iPhones and Android devices. Not by who makes the most money.

Anytime a thread about technology derails into a thread about money and profits instead, people have walked into the trap of a troll.

I ignore it too.

But certain people love to do it anyway.

Thread was going fine before a certain someone brought sales into it. And the logic is atrocious because everyone knows that tomorrow if the iPhone starts exploding their finances will still be at the top so using that as a benchmark is stupidity. Regardless I fell for the bait.

No it wasn't. You and i7guy continuously do this prevarication dance. It's like a playschool. "He started it sir" .....

You only have to look at the other thread (or threads) the pair of you are squabbling in ....

Well I agree. I am guilty of that bickering but I never brought sales into it.

I often wonder if they are the same person as they are so argumentative but on opposite ends of the scale.

Made post by mistake in the wrong thread But anyways Lol we aren't the same person. A forum exists for arguments.

Yep exactly....we can have a feature to feature discussion but someone always brings sales and profits into the discussion in every thread where there is a comparison between anything Apple related. The one common denominator is this one person and everyone knows who it is....
We should just all agree to NOT respond to him and ignore him. He can converse with himself.

It's great to have an feature for feature discussion leaving the abject hyperbole based on generalizations out as well. Somehow no matter what is discussed some Apple "negativity" unrelated to the thread topic is brought up. Someone always manages to slip some of this in.

Hyperbole!!!!!

While I'm definitely not looking to abandon iOS anytime soon, I did recently purchase a Pixel that I've been curious to try out. I tried an S7 and wasn't a huge fan of the bloatware, so I figured I would try pure Android and see what the experience is like.

Though the phone definitely will not replace my 7 or SE!

Rear TouchID is starting to seem to be a reality

Agreed. It used to bother me a bit but now I'll gladly take the bump if it is means better optics/sensor/etc.

I see no reason for the hump unless iphone is really doing real optical zoom. Others can fit top notch camera module and yet flushed, I see no reason for the hump. Maybe Apple bought cheap camera module. :)

No offense, but let's give up on a flush camera. It's not likely to happen.

Its one of those things Jobs would have insisted on. The current Apple lacks the small attention to detail which used to be there when Jobs was influencing designs. There is also no adherence to design strategies. For years they focused on making everything thinner. The Air 2 even had a comparison marketing page on how thin it was compared to Air 1 and judging by the new iPad and the iPhone 8 they are making everything thicker again. We are also returning to iPhone 4 era glass designs.

Why do we care what SJ insisted on?

Or even pretend to somehow know what would have been "insisted" on.
