Best. Interesting word. It's a great word that is the epitome of subjectiveness. Who defines best? What's best for me is not best for you.I think some are having a very difficult time acclimatizing to an age where the iPhone does not represent the best smartphone technologically, aesthetically or value per dollar.
The smart phone landscape has changed dramatically. If you geek out on tech, it’s a great time to be alive. If you subscribe to the idea of Apple being the best, you’re not getting through your day without a massive dosage of cognitive dissonance.
At best Apple will become more competitive with the iPhone X, but it will never be like it was in 2011.
You can be a "tech geek" and appreciate tech and still have a good idea of why you prefer certain tech over another and still discuss the tech for what it without trolling nor assigning labels to people who prefer one tech over another. MRU is a perfect example of someone who does that. He's a great example to follow. Others, sadly, not so much.
But back to what is probably now going to be called the iphone x as the iphone 8 seems to be relabeled from the 7S.
My biggest questions is how is apple going to make up for the loss of touch id?
