Stronger stereo speakers on the new iPhone 8. That's a win. Would love to see more OEMs incorporate better stereo speakers without needing bezels for front-fire speakers. In the case of the Galaxy series, they need to get stereo speakers in there, period.

Wireless charging will be Qi standard.

oh...and one more thing....the iPhone X to be released later this year.....

Base iPhone price is now $699. Starts at 64GB.
Base iPhone Plus price is now $799. Starts at 64GB.

Seems like the only other storage option is 256GB? Not sure. No pricing on that tier.


And the iPhone X is official! It's pronounced "ten" apparently.

This is going to greatly push the competition.

But if you shave your beard....you will have to have it learn your face again? Growing a beard takes time....so it learns. Shaving your beard will not,let it learn your while it grows

Now people will understand what I've been explaining for years: the wireless part is between the charger and the phone. Duh.

A mate of mine reckons that the face ID lights your face up with a light on the front of the phone if you're in the dark? If true it's not so great in the cinema or if you're opening your phone up while trying not to wake up a sleeping partner. It must be an infra red style light surely?
 
wait...so you have to look at the phone...then FaceID authenticates you...THEN you swipe up? Did I get that right? That is two steps to get to your home screen.

They're demoing the iPhone X now, and they don't seem to have any interest in blacking out the "ears." Perfect symmetry is no longer a requirement. Hope Rene Ritchie's doing okay.

Ritchie will change his tune, and spin it has the greatest thing every created. Like he does every.dang.time.

Also no 512GB model and if I dont manage to get my order in on Oct 27 I bet its wait till the end of Dec/beginning of Jan.
