I don't care if people use cases or not. I just have a problem with people making assumptions and judgements about ME not using a case.
I don’t think every comment on here supporting the use of a case is aimed at you though. You don’t use a case and are very vocal about it which is fine, but those of us that do have valid reasons for doing so, aren’t thinking about you specifically when sharing them here. Like you, I don’t care what others do, and I’d even go so far as to say I don’t care if others damage their phones or not, as long as I do the right thing with my own phone.

Although you may not be aiming at one specific person, if you target a group of people, you hit those in the group.

So, no. Nothing aimed at me specifically, but in general, because I am part of a group, I get hit.

I hate the way these phones feel naked and they are made of glass so yes always a case and usually a heavy duty one

Yes, I use a case on my iPhone. I use a clear case because I love the looks of the iPhone, but I still use a case because I'm a gigantic klutz and there's no way I would use an iPhone without a case.

I use the Spigen Liquid Crystal series because they're slim and beautiful and they've also allowed my iPhone to survive cartwheels across various hard surfaces.

I use a case.

I can’t stand the fingerprints that always accumulate on the shiny metal sides of the 13 Pro Max. In addition to a matte design also want the case to be protective, not bulky, and have magsafe.

Somehow I became a bit more clumsy in the last years. I used to use Apples leather cases, but unfortunately they have declined on quality and protection was always medium at best. Now I have switched to the Mous case. Its a full protection case while not as boxy as Otter. It's installed all the time for roughly a year now and I do really love it so far. Those iPhones became so expensive now, a full protection case is perfectly in order here.

Still using my 14 PM caseless during vacation: sea, beach, a 18 months son. No problems at all 😎 but I’m using at the same time a Rolex Submariner 124060 without care about micro scratches from the sand: I think that I reached a quite mind free state about my things ☺️

I would prefer not to, but squared off edges are so uncomfortable to hold imo. A case makes it a bit more bearable.

Exactly this.

When the corners got squared off the grills at the bottom were flat, resting the Pro Max phones became way too uncomfortable.

So for many generations I had no case.

But last few years, I’ve had to use one, so I’ve always gone for an Apple Leather Case in Black.

You are braver than I am :)
But you use it caseless only during vacation? Shouldn't it be the other way around lol

I wanted to combine an Iphone case with a wallet so I didn't lose both and I have been doing that the last month. I don't like how small the pockets are for cash, but I do like the case overall.

Caseless most of the time. Generally I always bought a leather and a red silicone case from Apple for each new model, use them for 2-3 months and than naked.
i tried going caselss for a day, it was tough
It was proably all in my head, but I was extra careful and had no peace of mind lol

I have both Apple leather and silicone cases, while I love the vibrant colors of the latter I prefer he feel of the former.
The leather case is thinner and lighter than the silicone

It’s all about the first scratch. After that, you will live easy ;)

My 14 PM black have got something barely noticeable on the frame, not more else visible. Really satisfied after 8 months :)

I must admit, as iPhone 15 is due next month, and my 14 PM in perfect condition, I have put a case back on....

Does anybody still use the screen protectors?
Absolutely! My husband has replaced 2 screen protectors just this year alone. But his phone screen is in perfect shape!

Much rather pay $10 for 2-3 screen protectors in a box than pay for a screen repair. Of course, we are a case (Otterbox) family as well. Love that Otterbox will replace the case if it get broken. Especially helpful when you've got kids with some special challenges where they tend to "fidget" with the phone case doors/corners.

I gave in and ordered below from Apple today, arriving on Monday. Some love for the Mini ♥️
Up until yesterday I have only dropped my phone at home where I have wooden floors everywhere except the bathroom and at the toilet where my phone is not going.

But yesterday I dropped the phone at a shop with not so soft floors. My Mini wasn't damaged, but I decided to buy the below. The wallet I have used with my Mini fitted great with iPhone 4 and 5, and it have worked with the Mini, but it's very snug.
I plan to have my Mini until Flip-phones comes, and most likely not 1st gen either.

Yes I use a case but I really don’t want to use one 😂 I have AppleCare+ and I am still worried about damaging my iPhone

Yes definitely, case or not. Having the Belkin UltraGlass now on my midnight 14PM, which replaced the first one that got shattered by a very small family member…

Have to update on my previous comment in the thread, that I was mostly caseless… nowdays, and especially over the vacations, I found myself enjoying the midnight silicone case to the degree that is has been on quite some while now. Mostly for the soft feel and risk with warm slippery hands… Quite surprised about liking the case to be on, never have in the past. Might come off again soon though. Point is: do what feels best but just know the consequences.

I use an Apple leather case and a Spigen EZ fit screen protector On my 14 Pro Max. I also have Apple care. I’m usually extremely careful with my phone and I reckon I could get away without using any form of protection for it but I can’t actually bring myself to do it. Can’t remember the last time I dropped a phone but I know I’d do it immediately if I went caseless.
