This EU experiment is going to be an EPIC failure. But evolution is good. The strong shall survive.
I do. I don’t have much time to sit down and play Fortnite and would love to play on my phone.Does anyone still care about Epic Games?
To be honest I will not be using any App Store other than Apple's and I definitely will not be side loading any apps. I prefer know that Apple's security works.
The player base is bigger now and they keep breaking records. The game got more concurrent players than it did during its last peak in 2018-2019. I came back to the game too, it’s a lot of fun. They lost BILLIONS going after Apple and many left the game completely.
HAHAHAHAHA
You just want to play the free gamesI‘ll download their App Store and then all their free games from it, deleting them right away, just to contribute to Sweeneybeeneys Core Technology Fee bill.
Alternate App Stores get hit with the 0.50€ on the first install, apps distributed via alternate App Stores require at least 1mil / per year downloads for the fee to take affect. I‘m sure one can rack up quite the bill here.
There are other jobs. They'll be ok.Those companies, like or dislike them, have employees. Those employees have families.
Dude you just don’t get it. Even when Epic makes a ton of money and wins legal battles over Apple, they still lose. Epic = losers. It’s simple math. What don’t you get??The player base is bigger now and they keep breaking records. The game got more concurrent players than it did during its last peak in 2018-2019. I came back to the game too, it’s a lot of fun.
Taking it a bit too seriously there DUDEDude you just don’t get it. Even when Epic makes a ton of money and wins legal battles over Apple, they still lose. Epic = losers. It’s simple math. What don’t you get??
\s
I'll be laughing at posts by people with bricked iPhones crying Apple won't help them.
A bit much telling people leave a job because you don’t like the companyThere are other jobs. They'll be ok.
Some companies are a net negative in the world. As much as I feel for their employees, it's better overall if those companies either fail or change their business activities in such a way that their impact becomes a net positive. Epic's CEO seems hell-bent on avoiding the latter, so we root for the former as the remaining alternative.I have never understood the desire of one wanting companies to fail / go bankrupt.
Those companies, like or dislike them, have employees. Those employees have families.
Thos employees spend money to keep the economy going.
We end up hating companies by the choices of leadership. Most of the employees just go to work and do what are are asked to do to be able to provide for their families.
I hope no one ever wishes the company you work for to go bankrupt /shut down..
I need to start adding sarcasm disclaimers to my very sarcastic replies.Taking it a bit too seriously there DUDE
A bit sad attitude to have because you don’t like a company then I should crash & burn. Some companies are a net negative in the world. As much as I feel for their employees, it's better overall if those companies either fail or change their business activities in such a way that their impact becomes a net positive. Epic's CEO seems hell-bent on avoiding the latter, so we root for the former as the remaining alternative.
What other companies deserve to die, given this criteria? Some companies are a net negative in the world. So... You think what is to come we be... better? More opportunities to "set up OTHERS to be duped?" (fixed that for you.)Sounds like they were in the Apple App Store, where cons and scams get through their "review" routinely
The better course of action is not ever blindly trust any particular source of content/software.
That literally sets you up to be duped
Just wondering how much malware has been distributed on Epic/Steam on PC compared to the iOS App Store.So... You think what is to come we be... better? More opportunities to "set up OTHERS to be duped?" (fixed that for you.)
More like Epic is the loser hereApple failed after all.
Yeah epic the big loserMore like Epic is the loser here
Which helps Epic how with Apple? He is not going to be playing on his iPhone or iPad which ones of millions were doing until Tim Sweeny decided to break the rules and ruin it for all Apple users.Well my nephew just got a ps5 to play Fortnite with his friends & he’s young.
They will probably make the money back with their new store
Not at all! I would also laugh if someone decided to open up their MacBook, tinker around, and complain how Apple won't fix their mistakes. You voided your warranty. This is some pathetic and embarrassing thing to even think, let alone speak out. You ought to be ashamed for wishing someone misfortune.
A lot, especially those companies that depend on government support or regulations which force people to do business with them instead of their competitors. What other companies deserve to die, given this criteria?
They do not have an App Store at all on iOS as of right now. When they do, it'll only be in Europe and you'll have to convince those folks to even download an epic store to get Fortnite. The base of users went from 100% of all Apple users to less than 1%. Meanwhile, Epic lost out of 4 years of VBUCK sales on the billions of IOS devices.Yeah epic the big loser
With their own App Store on iOS
How are they ever going to cope being a big loser
