Euro 17" Deliveryrace - Who's first..?

As i mentioned in my previous post the UPS tracking information can be obtained if you log into the 'Your account' section on the USA Apple website.

The tracking number is in the format 1ZW7XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
The number wont be activated for us here in Ireland until the end of the journey. Mine is to 'Merge in Transit GB' and then when its finished there it will be handed over to UPS to get it from FLEXTRONICS LOGISTICS UK., DAVENTRY, to Dublin. Just hope it doesnt take much longer.

Can ya tell me if your TNT tracking is working? The only thing that was working for me was Apecode with the 80xxxx number. Would like to know where it is now if you have any tips would love to hear them.

Looks like mine's already in Dublin!!!!!! Only a few short hours... How will I sleep???

Ok, so I look up my MBP from the link to "Order Status" in my emails from Apple UK. The tracking tells me nothing apart from the usual; it's on its way - on schedule. If I go to the Apple US website and log in, it tells me it's shipped with UPS (UK) and gives me a tracking # beginning with 1ZW7..............

Unfortunately tracking with UPS on the net doesn't recognise this tracking number! Any other UK people had similar experiences and can tell me what to expect? It'd be much appreciated, as I'm sure you can relate with this itch to have it now too!

Same here. My 80xxxxxxxx apple delivery reference number does not work on either the apecode tracker site or the TNT web site. I can find a UPS number via the American store but it does not work in the UPS web site either

It's a bit weird because I have UPS numbers of for the EMEA CC-HE Contract Uplift PowerBook
S2366Z/A Apple ED Applecare and for the HP DESKJET 5940-GBR
TE734B/A but not the actual MacBookPro? MBPRO 17/2.33/2G/160/256VRAM/SD-DL-GBR MA611B/A. Neither is there a status button on the UK Status page for the actual MBP ?

Guess I just have to keep trying each day.

Well, despite the TNT site still saying my MBP's in China, on the phone they told me it was shipped from Frankfurt yesterday at 5pm and is out for delivery TODAY!!! Oh happy day!!

Damn, i wish i'd taken today off work. I think i will be having a late night tonight

Yeah, good luck with yours today too! When i phoned TNT they told me their system hadn't been updated so it was still showing Potential Connection Delay even though that was cleared last week. I would give them a call if i were you, you might just get some good news!

Initially thought there was screen bleeds but turned out to be a light bit of dust.
Screen is perfect! Amazingly light compared to my 17" HP and the isight light is amazing!

Gah! Just spoke to Apple, and it seems that coz I bought a sleeve with the laptop, it's 'merge in transit' and it has to 'meet up' with the case in England before heading over to me!

The annoying part is I rang last week and asked if this was going to hold it up, and they said they would split the order and send them separately so it didn't - BUT THEY DIDN'T DO IT!

This is torture - I would have cancelled the bloody sleeve if I had known they wouldn't split it...

So it's in England apparently, but no decent tracking info is available (got a UPS number but it's not showing up yet), and it may be Friday or next MONDAY (!!!) before I get it. Sob.

I have EXACTLY the same showing up on Apecode. My Apple delivery date originally said 28th, then it went to the 26th, and today it says 25th. Looks like we're both waiting for the same flight. Or has the flight happened but it's not been scanned at the EDC yet? Who knows?!

I wondered why my order status on my sleeve said November 25th and it wouldnt let me click on the tracking code for my MBP!!! I thought it would be worst case scenario ...but its now possibly even worse than worst case scenario if it comes on Monday!!!

Finding it so hard to concentrate on coursework and keep track of my MBP

Are you phoning 0845 600 1683 ?

Don't select option 4 (track an order), as it just tells you to use the website and hangs up. Use option 5 (all other) and you'll get to talk to someone. Good luck!

My current status (on the apple site) is "In Transit to Customer - Shipment Delayed" :'(

EDIT: Ack! This is on the apecode page - "on hold; aircraft/truck failure" - FOR GOODNESS SAKE! I'm not surprised it failed - it was in the air for 4 days!!!!
