Then I'm sure they would have announced that, as they have done in the past.

My guess is they're falling behind. Rumour has it, that the launch in Germany has been running into problems (either of a regulatory nature, from the banks side or something else - we don't know).

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much if I were you ;)

I know I'm a bit/way too optimistic but still Apple can surprise and not everything gets really announced anyways looking forward to this month of maybeeeee getting Apple Pay.

Although some of his speculations aren't true anymore, I still think if AP is coming to The Netherlands; it will be the coming week at the bunq event and for Belgium in the following weeks. Otherwise, I think we can go back to the waiting game..
To be honest I don’t expect anything from the bunq event. They will probably announce some new countries for their own services, but that’s it. Personally, I don’t have high hopes.

Well, it couldn't get more worse then last event. But let's hope for the best

As expected nothing in the Bunq event.
Indeed.

Im curious if we are gonna see something from Belgium this month. Because de Tijd was convinced Belgium was getting AP.

Several Belgian banks have now shown their t&c's when users tried to add cards. Should probably not take long.

I hope Amex will participate as well. They even don't have contactless cards. So this would be really handy.

I’m assuming a fake, due to the three digits on the bottom left (Apple Pay Displays four usually).

Confirmed fake by the creator of the image sadly.

Belgium however does have a newly translated Apple Pay support page:

https://support.apple.com/nl-be/HT207958

It is in Dutch, but only in Dutch through the Belgian site, not the Dutch site. Moreover, it stays at the bottom that certain pages are only available in English suggesting a work in progress for more Dutch translations (for Belgium, that is).

so another one off the list, next should be Germany.
any guesses which one would follow and when? AT / CZ / NL / SK

I doubt everything concerning Apple Pay until it's active on my device. I live in the Netherlands, I have every reason to doubt it
Well, it just shows that things can appear from nowhere (like with Kazakhstan). Even the rumours from Belgium are very recent. Finger's crossed and you will be blessed (possibly with an exclusive deal with ING?).

Already signed up. Revolut is a joke of a company in a way they handle public relations and i'm tired of their "coming soon".

Indeed, I don’t understand why small players can enable Apple Pay so fast and Revolut still selling the “soon” joke.
Not to mention that the moment you stop playing their ass kissing game they stop posting your messages on community board. Instead of improving the service they silence people who can actually see the true colours.

I'm really rooting for you guys. have been using it in Belgium for a while now and it still feels like magic. I still keep amazing people when I pay with my Apple Watch.

Also funny is that the iPhone/AWatch are way faster than the terminals. So you pay, the watch will confirm the payment and you obviously lower your arm, the person in the store will look at you all confused and then 2-3 seconds later the terminal will start beeping and print the ticket. Fun stuff.

Dont know about Belgium but in Croatia its so hard to pay with AppleWatch because NFC Terminals are usually placed on some very high or very low places so you actually needs to break your hand to point your watch there, its much easier with the phone.
