No I’m just glad it’s sane and we’re not getting the drastic size jumps. I think it’s been long enough they can safely memory hole the 42mm biggie.

The description in the store will say “this band fits 40, 41, 42mm watches.” There’s no biggie band with 42mm markings left.

Right? Check my work I just woke up
That’s exactly what I expect will happen. They do the same with the solo loops with pretending the 38mm and 42mm didn’t exist.

40/41/42
44/45/46/Ultra

And lets be honest, the apple store team is def cluttered enough to even keep selling the 42mm link bracelet and just put a ton of asterisks on the compatibility notes.

Not the best photo I’ve ever taken, but new Inverness Green BSL on SSG AW9.

We've already had Pacific Green haven't we?

I've certainly got a Pacific Green Sport Band anyway
Cocoa as well is a re-use of a previous season colour, albeit from many years ago now - September 2016. Which is ironically also the season from which the Ocean Blue (Solo Loop) originally came from.

I think this new pacific green is going to be a lot brighter and more exciting (and actually green?) than the old. The ocean blue solo loop is much more exciting than the old ocean blue band.

The new cocoa…not so sure how exciting it will be.

Yeah seems to be the record, Apple is revisiting and so far imo improving on old colors.

Well except for Canary.. barely any different.

They’re so weird about yellow. Now that they’re doing warm yellow goo…they’re not really iterating much. I love sunshine but it’s just too close to sunglow, there I said it.

Over/under on if the smaller watches/bands are gone? Seeing talk on Twitter (I mean X) that the S10 is 46mm only and the 41mm SE will be discontinued.

So are we looking at an iPhone/iPad mentality here of cheap = small, big = $$$?

How does this shake out in 2-3 years when they trickle down the S10/11 tech?

I just can't see Apple going big phone/watch only.

People were speculating that all smaller Watch models were being discontinued (the regular and SE) making 45mm the smallest still for sale.
