The Light Gray band that comes with the natural Titanium is like a warmer Concrete. I never wear it. If I want to wear gray, I always choose Fog or the (darker) „Gray“ that was released a while ago.
Seconded on the Fog choice.

Yep fog is an all-time great. Afaik the only band that’s ever been reissued and then disappeared again.Seconded on the Fog choice.
Pine Green is a hottie, Dark Teal and Midnight Blue are losers, so, yeah, Dark Teal is closer to Midnight Green.I can’t decide if Dark Teal is closer to Pine Green or Midnight Blue.
Somehow I think Cactus deserves to be in the mix here, equally as much as Pine Green.

I’m half in agreement. It always somehow disappoints me when Midnight Blue is the band that best suits what I’m wearing, whereas I’m always happy if I can wear Dark Teal. Pine Green is somewhere in the middle for me - it goes really well with a couple of shirts I have so I’m happy to match it perfectly as it’s an unusual colour, but it doesn’t “spark joy” as Marie Condo would say.Eventually. Can’t afford to buy new right now.

take it back right now.
Not because I was trying to prove you wrong, but because it intrigued me (and actually I thought you were right), but looking at the holy document of our faith (chart of all bands) it looks like the Brown Modern Buckle also did. Oddly, as it is fugly while Fog is a “quiet performer”. Also the Stone LL seems to have done it too. That’s another fizzer IMO.Yep fog is an all-time great. Most bands look great on the black watches, the notable exception being any leather band with silver lugs. If that sort of detail drives you nuts. Some bands look so much better on the black body, and I’ve never had a black Watch.

Oh Hell yeah, that would definitely drive me nuts. I’m OK with a black pin on my SS, and I think I’ll be OK with the SS pin on my SBSS, but silver lugs on a black watch; eeeewwww.Most bands look great on the black watches, the notable exception being any leather band with silver lugs. Midnight Blue may have been the first band I bought after the original set that launched with the S0 (I bought all but Pink of those). That is where Blue Horizon or Ocean Blue come in, for me. Midnight Blue never even came close to winning me over, at any price.
I try to use Obsidian / Black rather than Midnight if I can, but thanks, because now I want Horizon and Ocean...
Actually I had a look. Jeez, Horizon and Ocean are squeezing into an already tiny gap between Cobalt and Alaskan that I already have.
OK, so maybe I look for Horizon as a first step. I like the rich idea. And I agree on Obsidian.Haha obsidian is another great! And yeah, I suppose that gap could be seen as tiny.. but man oh man, the “richness” of horizon blue is what gets me.
Here’s to hoping they can do other deep & rich color options, eg. racing green as has been mentioned previously.

Anyway, I have all 4 so if I remember when it’s not too overcast to provide decent light I’ll take the same photo with Cactus added.
Anyone have an IRL comparison of Horizon and Ocean? Just ordered Horizon myself, and debating getting ocean too.

awesome, please do!
Ask and you shall receive.
Royal, Ocean, Blur Horizon, Obsidian

PS my obsidian is one of my oldest bands and also heavily adorned haha.. so it’s dulled a little. That being said, it’s very dark. Midnight Blue territory almost.
awesome, thanks! Can you toss midnight in there too, if you have it? already forgot your collection haha.
No problem, and would if I could — don’t have it!
I’ll give a go to Midnight, Obsidian, Cobalt and Alaskan shortly, but it’s pretty dull here today. As above I don’t have Horizon or Ocean though
I realise I might not be helping, but S5 SS with Hermes Noir RallyeStruggling to keep myself from buying a Hermes band. I have a SS series 5 44mm with the silver Milanese Koop, a surf blue sport band (on order), and a Sunshine sport loop (on order). But.... I want a “nice” leather band I didn’t like the apple leather loop. I LOVE the noir Hermes with the black hardware. I’m also tempted by the noir/blanc gold and the encre beton. Does anyone have any pics of these with the stainless steel watch or can convince me not to order one?
I’d love to wear it to work everyday and perhaps use the sport band and loop on the weekends.
Resisted buying an Apple Watch all these years and now I seem to be hooked.

Midnight Blue, Obsidian/Black, Blue Cobalt, Alaskan Blue. I’d consider Obsidian much richer than Midnight. There’s quite a gap between those and Cobalt, so if Horizon or Ocean was in there I’d be all over them.

I just spotted my Rallye has a light scratch on it. Time for some buffing...
I vote bleu encre/beton, as bleu encre is one of my all time favorite Hermes colors! It’s a gorgeous navy blue with purple undertones. Sorry, I can’t help with the modeling pics as my watch is space grey. I have single tour bands in fauve barenia and feu, plus a double tour in bleu paon. Here is bleu paon on my wrist in not so great lighting.

And here is a picture of one of my bleu encre bags, the lining is swift so accurate to the way the band would display the color.

Sure these are the same color? The band almost looks like a light teal or aqua color in that lighting. I’d love to see that in a sport band.
They are definitely different colors. The top is bleu paon, it’s more turquoise. Bottom is bleu encre. Bleu paon = peacock blue, bleu encre = ink blue
