Here is my updated setup. I posted a while back, but I made enough changes that I deemed it worthy of a new post. Sorry about the blurry pictures, I think my camera was out of focus and had the wrong settings. By the way, I am almost 15. Pictured is an iMac (20", 2.0ghz, 1gb RAM, 250gb HDD), iPod Touch (32gb), Apple Universal Dock, Aluminum Wired Keyboard, 500gb WD My Book Home Edition (for iTunes and iPhoto), Maxtor One Touch Plus 4 750gb (Time Machine), Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000, Uniden Cordless Phone, Polk Audio I-Sonic ES 2, HP Photosmart C4280, Samsung Glyde, Shure SE210s, a Universal Remote control, Sharp 26" 1080i LCD TV, DirecTV HD reciever. Not Pictured is another iMac (another family member's), an Airport Extreme, and an Airport Express, as well as numerous iPods.

For all you who think people are spoiled, all of the things I have here were either purchased by myself from working over the summer or given as gifts. The only thing that was neither is the iMac itself, which my parents bought to get me and my sibling to move.

Hey dude whered u get that desk and whats it called i love it?

im 13 and i have an iMac and an iPod touch 32GB, now you may be thinking that i'm one of those kids who get everything!

But i had to pay for most of these.

and kudos to the guy with his macbook nano!

Well lots of parents buy their kids macs.

But this ad isn't just aimed at parents buying for kids?

I'll never understand why you guys seem to care so much about how these kids get their things. The parents decide what they want to give them, so don't give them crap for having nice tech stuff. If you think they're "spoiled" then fine, but some things are just better left unsaid. That said, kids who say "I paid for it all myself using the money my parents gave me" are kind of asking for a negative response, but be the bigger person. Leave the under 18 threads alone if you're going to try to start something.

Sky+ in your room? Mental...
Its the old Box from when my parents went to Sky HD, no card yet.

So you paid for it all yourself using the tons of money your parents gave you?
Not really no, as i work, and they dont give me tons of money, they just have money to spare as theyre not stupid with money. Your comment just stinks of jealousy.

I Dont choose for them to give me money, so thought i would buy the things me and my friends want.

Yeah, i was just clarifying i didnt say i only used money parents gave me. Got a bit angry, sorry mate.

This is why i usually just keep my age off the forums, as im usually mistaken for a 20 year old, much easier with all the kit i've got.

brought my self my own macbook pro 2.53ghz model, for christmas.

im 17 & run my own online businesses & had the best month ever (19 sales in 9 days, each was $197 you can do the maths :) ) so i treated my self to the laptop ive always wanted.

too be honest i hate kids that get everything given to them, at a certain age it just has to stop.

Lots of different things really, but im concentrating on a few primary ones.

I have business businesses and i have websites that make money/ learning the stock market but not trading yet.

I had a ecommerce store (sold it) had a web design firm with a few groups of freelancers i assigned projects to (sold it)

Ill just list what i do...

Web Design - dont freelance anymore
Graphics Design - dont freelance anymore
Niche Marketing
Internet Marketing
Developing Online Business Applications (still developing but there coming along nicely)
Getting offline businesses online (big money in the ression with the media doing the marketing for me)
Business Consulting
SEO

and i can do some cash cows when i get bored.

main market is really marketing...well i love designing interfaces and developing cool new concepts to help businesses

designing dragonball z websites when your 12 really pays of in the long run.

:)

im looking to learn to develop iphone and mac apps just currently playing around with the sdk's ill look into it in detail when i finish my alevels this year.

Wow. I am impressed. Congratulations on what ever you end up doing. Something tells me your going into Marketing in College? Or Business?

Thanks :)

Flying. Air Transport Operations with Commercial Pilot Training to be exact lol

That's the main reason i got into businesses actually, to pay the £70,000 for flying lessons - then just got addicted lol
