I'm coming back friends.. decided to swing back to Sammy.. Pixel Fold will wait till next year ..

Wow… I’m shocked! What brought upon the change???

And I went back to do the preorders… got a better educational discount (from $40 to $120), the promotions and reserve discounts stayed the same. Samsung is so frustrating… why give us a countdown to order? When a day or two later... I’d get better savings smh.

And I’ve already been charged… going to contact them to see what I can do.

Edit… was about to contact them and the rep sent a request for a refund, have to wait a day or two to get any word on the situation.

is the Samsung store always this unreliable or is it an issue of the German store? I feel like it is just putting a phantasy date next to the product. For instance, I ordered the Fold 6 on Saturday and the Watch 7 on Monday. Both initially said delivery on the 18th, the following morning it switched to July 16th without anything actually being delivered, let alone shipped. Yesterday the Fold 6 was actually shipped (according to DHL) but the Samsung website still shows delivery expected (yesterday). My Watch 7 status changed to "delivery expected today" (as if) and no update besides "in progress" but I actually received a second DHL notification for delivery on Friday earlier. I assume it's the watch.

Reminds me of ordering things at Mediamarkt or Saturn (our equivalent of BestBuy). They always "lie" about the delivery dates.

Camera hardware has been downgraded as well likely due to wanting to make it thinner

Looking at the latest Pixel leaks... I'm pretty disappointed. I was expecting cameras similar to the rest of the Pro range, but not only are they not the same, but the ultra wide angle is worse, as well as the selfie cameras.

I'll wait until August 13th when it's unveiled, but right now I'm more on Samsung's side than Google's....

Awesome on the refund..yup I can see changing out to 9 XL and no iPhone upgrade I will be sticking with the iPhone 15 PM

Thats my plan as well. With all the AI stuff pretty much coming to the 15PM I don't see a reason to jump to the 16. I'll trade in my P8P and grab a P9P most likely.

Yeah ultra wide sensor is smaller for some reason. Makes no sense

Yeah, I’m in the same situation. But I live in Texas and the facility they shipping from is in Coppell, TX… about a 26 mile drive away.

So, even if they didn’t have possession of it yesterday…. as long as UPS get it today, I can have it tomorrow.

Sure makes you wish we could just pick them up. I'd make the drive over from Rockwall right now. Thinking since I waited around and ordered yesterday mine will likely be sometime next week.
