Hello guys, I’m writing here because I don’t know what’s going on and everyone next to me thinks I’m crazy.
As you know, I’ve already purchased and returned a 12, a 12 mini, and yesterday I decided to assume the cons about an 11 and give it a try.
I went to Apple, got a case and belkin crystal and even a car support. I wasn’t super “happy” because size but just OK, bigger battery and cool cameras are a nice pros anyways and PWD would leave my life.
Well.
I arrived home, started migrating data and had to do a couple of times because I interrupted the process and so on, so I had to configure Face ID a couple of times.
Could you believe that it felt definitely wrong? I thought: “ok, you are conditioned by past experiences so give it another try”, so I disabled Face ID and went on setting it up again. And again I felt something wrong, like a “warm” feeling in my eyes.
Screen doesn’t mess like OLED did when watching something or browsing/scrolling, but there’s something going on that doesn’t happen with my OGSE (from the one I’m writing now)
I’ve arrived to the point where I unlock the 11 with closed eyes due to paranoia, but the mild strain is present for sure, and it doesn’t happen when using OGSE.
I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve lurked this forum and looks like IR shouldn’t mess with your eyes, and maybe it’s just the bigger screen/ brightness and I just need a few days to adapt. I’m not returning it and I’m willing to experiment a bit, but do you guys think that Face ID may be messing around with my eyes? I’m starting to be a bit tired about this mobile buying returning stuff
ps: I’ve disabled Face ID attention stuff and all that stuff like reduce white point etc
