Thanks mate, those scrolling lines don't fill me with extreme confidence, but the lack of persistent flicker compared to the 13 makes me think we just might get away with it, my hands are slowly gravitating towards my wallet

Thanks for that.
And now I have just placed my wallet firmly back in the drawer, turning the key, and proceeding to throw it out the window.Am feeling a bit motion sickness but I’ll give it a few days.
240Is there any chance @badger1212 you could do the same but in 240fps to see if it picks up anymore severe flicker?
That's 24fps mate - just missing a 0
It was slo mo 720p at 240fps.That's 24fps mate - just missing a 0
Might have been transcoded - video info is showing 24fps - the 120fps one is fineIt was slo mo 720p at 240fps.
I have found that sometimes promotion will cause this, maybe try it with 120hz disabled if it doesn't resolve on its own in a few days?Am feeling a bit motion sickness but I’ll give it a few days.
Do you turn brightness up to near 100% and then use reduce white point to make it the most tolerable, or do you find that even when lowering brightness, you have no problems?I still have no problems. It feels like the iPhone 12 Pro, which I tolerated well. It doesn't really matter how fast the bars are if some kind of DC dimming is implemented again.
That footage is in 4K 24fps not 240fps slow-moLooks like it only flickers at very low light? Right after you start?
Great, even more doubt - didn't think of that jimmy, the camera modules are huge, have you got it in a case?First impression = wish I'd got the Pro Max. The camera module is so large I've got nowhere to place my fingers! 🤦♂️
The warmer display is the first against period. I've got an red, tilting to green oled. Already missing cool blue lcd.
No case, I prefer naked to keep weight and thickness down.Great, even more doubt - didn't think of that jimmy, the camera modules are huge, have you got it in a case?
That's encouraging. I wish he would test it with a white background because that seems to be more informative. My phone is still not here yet so I have nothing to add.
Zollotech's iPhone 14 Pro Max review out - PWM no flicker at 240fps
I had a bit of a sweeping brain tingle at first and my right eye is a little strained + my contact lens are feeling dry (got to blink more). As always, Friday is not a great day for iphone release as it's been along and tiring work week which doesn't help. So far not bad, best result for a Pro iphone for me.I’ve only been using it a few minutes now but I’ve got a bit of a headache. Hopefully just coincidence because I am prone to headaches anyway. I feel a bit “swimmy” but I’m also excited and it’s hard for me to not pay way too much attention trying to figure out if it’s messing with my head… results inconclusive so far…
That’s what I’m doing but I was wondering… can I just activate the esim on the 14PM and if it doesn’t work transfer the esim back to my 11?Just got it. My plan is to not transfer my Sim and data from my iPhone 11 because I'm very skeptical.
Instead I'm just setting up as a new phone. Haven't played much with it because there's a stupid update to run first.
If after a day or so I have no problems then I'll erase the phone and transfer over my Sim and data from my 11.
Will report back!
