...don't you know to fast track apps or borderline apps to be approved, you need to pay the reviewer "under the table" ;) or you wait and wait....

Have they included this feature yet? I don't read any of my messages on my iphone because i have no way to flag them for later if its going to be a big reply

if you want a feature, you know, ask for it. Posting on these forums is useless. I actually asked joe for including video uploading for the 3Gs.

Ahh. So you're the reason they put in that feature. I wondered what gifted human being thought up such a crazy feature to add to the app.

LMAO!!! Something to snicker at while we wait on one of the most widely used apps on the iPhone to be approved by freak'n Apple.

Hurry it up already!

so i have gotten a pocketgod, doodlejump, trace, and sims3 update all in the past two days and im starting to get ANGRY!! ok sorry i just needed to all caps something..lol..Comeon Apple get it together!!

What if someone from apple was reading this thread, and is just messing with us by holding back the update. That would not be cool.

Since we are all eagarly awaiting Apple to approve this update, PCMag got their hands on the 3.0 update and here is their review:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2351802,00.asp

Some main points of the article:
  • The modified "Friends" list, which now displays a phone icon if they have listed their phone number. If you tap the phone icon, you can dial or text your friend straight from this screen.
  • As for new photo functionality, this version allows you to zoom in and 'like' other people's photos. You can also create new photo albums and delete photos. You can now delete tags on your own photos, but you can't delete tags from your friends' photos.
  • You can't rearrange your custom home screens after you've set your favorites. Because the new home screens are such an important feature, it would be nice to change these with ease. At this point, the only way to delete someone you've accidentally favorited is to go to that person's profile, tap the menu button in the right-hand corner, and manually remove them.
  • Push notifications and the ability to edit your custom home screens will be included in version 3.1, Facebook engineer Joe Hewitt told me. He also said the ability to watch non-YouTube Facebook videos is an issue they are working on.

Hopefully, Apple will approve this update soon.

Here is a great update from Joe Hewitt via his Twitter:
joehewitt: It feels weird to be making so much progress on the 3.1 update when 3.0 isn't even on the app store yet.... sigh.
I agree!

Sigh.....

I wish I had something useful and valuable to contribute to this thread, but all I can say is I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS UPDATE!! Honestly, how bad is it that I refresh the App Store to see if this new version of Facebook is waiting for me several times a day?

..such a loser

I think we all feel the same way. At least I do. I think that they are going to wait until Monday night, when they update the app store.

LOL

Then we are all just a bunch of losers.

I think half the battery I use every day is checking the app store for this.

Right now I'm resisting the temptation to be a total a dick and post something like:

"Guys, it's available now!! This is pretty sweet, open the App Store to check it out!"
