doesn't change the fact the apple created smartphones and tablets first!!

Apple Did not create the smartphone, so your wrong.
Apple did not invent the tablet, so your also wrong.

Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong. Your Wrong!

Tablets and Smartphones existed long before the iPhone and iPad.

We have only one Samsung product in our house and that my wifes Samsung Netbook. I'm looking forward to the day I can throw that trash in the bin and get an MacBook Air.

Well, hope you don't have an Apple computer or an iPhone, or an iPad. Because Samsung most likely makes the memory in the computer, and makes the Processor for the iPhone. Better throw that stuff in the trash to.

Oh and when you Buy the Macbook Air, make sure it doesn't have a Samsung SSD in it, because some of them do ;)

I'm not arguing anything, I just find it amusing that, a lot of Apple guys I know in RL say things like that " oh I'd never buy anything with Samsung stuff in it! They just copy! " Then they go buy Apple products with Samsung parts in it.

I couldn't care less about the argument. Because I don't " love " or " hate " companies, because thats silly.

The "Apple uses Samsung parts" is only useless because the actual argument that starts it all : "Samsung is bad, Apple is good" is in itself quite useless. There are no bad companies, there are no good companies. Apple doesn't want you defending them or boycotting others. They just want your money in exchange for products.

Any other energy you expand towards Apple is worthless.

I don't expand any energy towards Apple, I like Apple, I think outside of their computers they make an awesome product.

Well, it is technically an "argument" as you have counted what I said.

Any who, I've never heard someone say they wouldn't buy anything with Samsung stuff in it? That would be difficult to buy any product.

I love Apple purely because they way I live my life an how Apple products are involved in it.

I also love Lego. They/its awesome. :)

Thats a sad way of thinking about considering Steve Jobs was so passionate about the product he was making. :(

There is no contradiction in being passionate about a product and wanting to maximize profits, so no need to be sad.

Not so much on this forum, but I have heard it many times before, it all started with that those stupid Samsung Ads portraying Apple users as sheep. Ugh. At least the PC vs Mac adds were just funny, they never led to this lol.

I HATE Samesung.

They slavishly copy everything from Apple.
I went round to my sister's yesterday and had to cringe with embarrassment for her as she has a new Samesung tv in her lounge.
Its only 2 weeks old, and she still has the receipt and i'm trying to convince her to take it back and get a tv from a different manufacturer.

Samesung had the gaul to copy Apple, so now I'm doing all I can to get them bankrupt.

I HATE SAMESUNG! All their employess should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
And so should anyone here with any kind of Samesung product of any description!

And yes, i refuse to buy a new ipad until i can be sure it doesn't contain the crappy god-awful Samesung screen.
:apple:

LOL, ...you will be beating that dead horse a longgg time. I guess you forget that Apple has copied others as well.....Android being the most recent they have copied. I just dont get why in here it is so awful for somebody to copy Apple but it is just fine for Apple to copy anyone else

The fact that other companies are doing well and making good things are making Apple better. I guess common sense dont work well in here.

Ever heard of Pioneer, their TV'S that are five years old and used still sell for more then a new Samsung TV. Their absolutely phenomenal, I paid $8000 for mine.
That's a bit out of my price range, mate!

Apple will.

I'm fine with Samsung as long as they don't eat much of Apple's market share and as long as they aren't copycats who innovates on their own.

If Samsung copied Apple TV, I'm not buying a single samsung product again.
Apple might, but I already have an Apple TV hooked up to the Samsung...so unless it's that good, I'll keep what I have for now.

Yes, when it comes to what they want the general population to do I would also assume the only thing they really want is for people to pay for their products.

Actually, it would be pretty much illegal for them not to, considering their responsibilities towards the stock owners and what the word "profitable" means...

oh yeah, the amazing ipad screen that APPLE researched and developed!! Its amazing because Apple developed it, and then passed it on to Samesung to produce. Its the equivalent to being taken out on a free lunch.
And guess what? oh yeah thats right, they do what samesung do best and produce absolute garbage.
Trawl these forums to see all the posts complaining about the new ipad screens with yellow tints, dead pixels etc.
Hell, there are many people reporting on how they are still not happy with their ipad screens and they are on like their 12th ipad! it speaks for itself!

Cant have it both ways. The new iPad was made by Samsung with as you said, Apples development. If there is a problem with it, it is Apples design.

Though i will say, the new iPad screen is very beautiful. Just an amazing crystal clear display and nobody else could make them up to Apples standards and is why Samsung did it.

The F700 was only a month later than the iPhone, I highly doubt even samsung could design an entire new phone and OS to go with it in a month.
I didn't say the F700 is an iPhone copy, I said the Galaxy in the picture is an iPhone copy. One that they took their sweet time with. You came up with that flawed F700 comparison.

I don't loose sleep over any of this, Apple is a copycat as well, so is Samsung, Companies copy off each other all the time.
There's subtle copying, which is what they all do and which is probably good for us consumers, and then there's the kind of copying that can only be described as blatant, obvious ripping off. Shamelessly copying entire concepts. Like MS Windows. And Samsungs i9000. The kind of copying that corporate giants ought to be ashamed of.

Yeah, I can see things with the i9000 thats a straight copy.

However, I don't see where Microsoft Windows has done a massive amount of copying? And I've used Apple and Microsoft OS's for a LONG time.

What a silly thing to say. You are confused with "innovate" and "Invent".

FWIW I dislike Samsung. Their marketing team thinks the only way they can sell their products is to openly insult Apple users in their ad's. Before anyone links the mac vs pc ads don't bother, its not the same.

We have only one Samsung product in our house and that my wifes Samsung Netbook. I'm looking forward to the day I can throw that trash in the bin and get an MacBook Air.

Me too. Personally, I equate the use of the mouse driven GUI by Microsoft to copying an entire concept. Apple pays Xerox dollars/stock -- Microsoft takes what they want. That's 'massive', at least in my book.

Yes it is. Its absolutely the same.

Apple Ad..Fun guy "representing a Mac" as fun and enjoyable and a guy in a suit "representing a PC" being dull and boring.

Samsung Ad.. Taking the piss out of people standing in line for a phone.

Samsung Ad.. A "Dumb" women being challenged to do something simple on her phone vs a "Smart" guy trained on an Android device.

You can attack someone elses product if you think you can actually back up your claims, thats fine. If you think you have a better product go for it.

Samsung went for the users. Not cool and pretty sad.

I don't any bashing of any kind going on in this Microsoft Ad.

Just the date on the image is wrong, for me its proof that the iPhone was not an original concept.

If you want to see it that way, sure. Though good luck patenting a mouse driven GUI lol.

I do think Apple steals to, the Dock menu is a complete ripoff of the Windows Quick Launch bar.

Were you offended? I don't have a single Samsung device and a pretty much all Apple eco system at home. That doesn't mean that I in any way identify myself with hipsters or others waiting in line for a product being released.

I find the commercials funny and spot on.

How about adding along with being dull and boring........... not able to do what an Apple can and pointing out Windows problems with slow downs, problems with their OS updates, etc.... Absolutely the Same thing.

Yeah I was kind of offended as I did stand in line for the 4S. I wanted to as I didn't want to wait several weeks for the back order to catch up. I buy into the Apple hype and love it. It makes product launches exciting and its good being around people thinking the same.

Samsung can easily dismiss the Cult Apple following purely because they will never have one.

----------

Thats your take on it and you are a Apple guy. Not how i see it.

It is the same no matter what you think.

I mean really?

Mmmmmm. Not sure you understand the point of the each ad so we may aswell just leave this one. :)

----------

I think the Samsung ads go after the user to much, low blow.

You gotta go after the product.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1KHZp5ZMJQ&feature=related

I think that Windows ad is pretty hilarious. And Doesn't attack any users.

lol. is that an actual ad? love it and a great dig. How it should be.
