Yes, when it comes to what they want the general population to do I would also assume the only thing they really want is for people to pay for their products.

You know a company has good marketing when they have people believing that it's not about products/profits, it's about "experience and revolutions!". It's always sad to see people fall for it and start defending Apple as if it was their very own lives that are put into question when you point out flaws in Apple's products or policies.

lol. is that an actual ad? love it and a great dig. How it should be.

Its from a couple years ago, I'm pretty sure its real though. Its part of when Microsoft/Apple went nuts attacking each other. I think its pretty funny.

Yeah I was kind of offended as I did stand in line for the 4S. I wanted to as I didn't want to wait several weeks for the back order to catch up. I buy into the Apple hype and love it. It makes product launches exciting and its good being around people thinking the same.

Samsung can easily dismiss the Cult Apple following purely because they will never have one.
In that case Samsung are probably more on point than I first thought.

I understand ..... that you just dont want to see it. Maybe you need to go look at them again. There are several of them. And just because you got offended for them making fun of those standing in line for example which offended you...it doesnt mean it offends everyone.

Truth is truth and if that is insulting in your view....oh well. I guess that must mean you arent comfortable with what you did. Im not offended at all by the Mac and PC commercials, just saying it is the same thing.

Haha, yeah. I mean, it's a company that had what, billions of unused cash that they by law had to do something with. They did not give away free products or lower the prices, meaning they most definitely have their greatest interest lying in making money, and lots of it.

So I agree, it's more than a little funny, and just incredibly impressive, to see that so many talk about Apple and their products as if they had even close to the same reason for what they are doing as Linus Linux Thorvalds had when he absolutely refused to make Linux anything but free and for everybody.

"We put our heart and soul in making great products and on the back of that made a lot of money but because we made too much we have decided to give all our stuff away for freeeeee"

Did Samsung bully you at school? how can someone hate a company?

hate |hāt|

• [as adj. ] denoting hostile actions motivated by intense dislike or prejudice : a hate campaign.

There is no such thing as an Apple or any other kind of tax except what government does. Nobody is forcing you to buy an Apple/Sony/Samsung/whatever.

Ever heard of Pioneer, their TV'S that are five years old and used still sell for more then a new Samsung TV. Their absolutely phenomenal, I paid $8000 for mine.

Panasonic now owns that technology and has yet to implement it.

Pioneer TVs are STILL awesome.

I don't hate Samsung, because they have done nothing to me, I only dislike companies that have personally screwed me over.

I own a 32 inch Samsung Ultra-Slim LEDTV, and I've never owned a finer TV, I also own a Samsung Blu-Ray player that is fantastic. As for their phones, they just don't appeal to me, so I don't buy them.

But don't you hate that Samsung is a nameless, faceless behemoth unlike Apple which will give you a physical store to go into with Geniuses?

I don't like that Samsung Electronics makes too many products. They lack the same focus Apple has towards the consumer. In fact most importantly they lack Steve Jobs.

How does Samsung Electronics lack focus? They make a bunch of different phones to suit peoples tastes. I have an iPhone for work ( they gave it to me ), and its fine for that, But for my personal phone. I would never consider one.

If Samsung Ran like Apple, they would make 2 TVs, 1 Phone, and 1 Tablet.

Screw that, I like choice.

Technically Samsung isnt a Nameless, Faceless Behemoth, it has a name, Samsung. So it's a faceless behemoth ;). And I should hate it over another behemoth just because it has stores with people I can talk to?

I tend not to go into Apple stores anyway because the nearest one is totally out of my way, I order all my electronics online, Apple gear included. Just because one offers one more service, why should I hate a company that doesnt? Samsung has provided me and a stunning TV that was pretty darn cheap, and an amazing Blu-Ray player. If I have an issue with them, I'll ring up Samsung and they'll pick it up for me, fix it for me and send it back to me.

Having feelings like love or hate towards corporate entities is inane. They all have the same goal : take our money in exchange for goods and services. Let them bicker and fight amongst themselves and just give your hard earned earnings to the most deserving at the time you're ready to spend, don't let them dictate your life.
