Can't decide between gold and white. I'm just getting ready to go to the store so I'll decide when I get there. Also can't decide where to buy it from. It's £549 from Samsung direct but if I buy it from them I'll have to take out third party insurance. It's £20 more at car phone warehouse but I can take out the geek squad insurance. I've used it before and it's very reliable and quick.

Frost White looks better in my opinion :)

I bought the black and regret not getting the white myself tbh. I too think the white front looks nicer.
My last 3 phones have been black (note 3, S5 and iPhone 6 plus) and on evey occasion I wanted the White but ended up with the black due to white not being in stock. So I'm determined to get a non black phone today!!!!!

I'm going to buy it off contract as it works out cheaper then buying out my contract and I still have that option later on in the year when the next latest and greatest comes out. I'll just pop a 3 pay as you go sim in there. My line is with O2 who I prefer, but three have all you can eat data so its better value for money.

I've conceeded that I have to have 2 phones.

So I went with the gold. After seeing them in person the gold was calling me more than the White. I'll set it up when I get home and post my thoughts.

I went for black, but kinda wish I went for white.

Picked it up for £28 a month on EE from mobiles (no up front cost). I also get 40% off that with a work discount scheme so had to be done at that price :)

First results from Geekbench 3 from Lollipop:

Single-Core: 1269
Multi-Core: 4458

Recent App Drawer is now instant and the whole UI is super fast, seems as fast as the S6 now.

You downloaded the BOC3 firmware right? Can you check the multitasking and open 9 - 10 apps and then go into recents and bring them out of background oldest first and see if it has to refresh a lot of the app content.

The BOB4 DBT firmware was horrible for me with app refreshes, but it seems BOC3 is the one they are pushing out to more places and the one Vodafone are going to push out, so interested to see if this is still an issue or fixed.

Thanks :)

Where can I find my firmware number? Closest I can find is build number (mine is LRX22C.N910AUCU1COC2).

I must say I really like this update, my phone has felt a lot more responsive and smoother, while it still hiccups from time to time, its much better. Also the default Samsung apps have been greatly improved, I'm actually mostly using the default apps, only ones I'm not using is the launcher, still using Nova, and email where I'm using Gmail.

You have at least 6 months manufacturers warranty left.

All devices come with at least 12 months manufacturers warranty.

If you are in the European Union it's 24 months.

Likewise assuming it's still in warranty and you have a hardware problem,, then please pick up the phone and contact Samsung customer support and let them assist you. They are best placed to solve issues than anyone here (especially when you do not even indicate the problem at hand).

Updated to the BOC3 Netherlands firmware 5.0.1 Going to see if it performs better than the DBT update.

So far noticeable improvement and the app refreshing issue hasn't arisen as yet.

I bought the S View cover yesterday at BB cause I was able to get it for half price and I do not currently own the Note 4. :)

I can return it but I know I am not going for the S6. I would rather the N4 discounted. I just have to find a good deal on swappa and the like.

And I am going for a white one.

Have you still got your 6 plus?

Nope, sold it in anticipation of new toys. Oops, I mean smartphones. :)

I recently got the Nexus 6 and I still want to check out the M9 but that would really just be out of curiousity. Then there is the next Moto and the G4.

March isn't the only month for madness. We do it every month! :)
