Off topic, but have a question;

I actually really like Google Messenger for texts, works 100% bulletproof all the time. But only one complaint, I wish I could turn off Heads Up notifications from popping up on the home screen or when surfing the web or in other apps.

I liked with stock Messages, I could turn off Heads Up, and just have the new message displayed in the Status Bar only, it would roll the message across the status bar, and I loved that, but not sure I can set up Google Messenger to do the same ?

Are you experiencing the stuck on Sending in messages on your Note 5?

He has come under a lot of fire lately. His last video was iPhone 6S v S6 speedtest and he had turned off animations on the S6 and skewed the video. It puts a ? over bias when a manipulation is clearly evident. His subscribers called him out on it.
Really? Wow, I don't understand why someone would do that, unless they're a Samsung rep, what do you have to gain?

I am torn between this note 5 and iphone 6s plus

I am on a note 4 and its hard for me to part from the screen.

I like the idea the iphone has a bit longer battery life, and i keep hearing about this over aggressive ram usage that is happening.

Those of you that switched from the Note 4 to the 5, how has it been. Does it give you much of a wow factor stilll with the speed bump.

I am also hearing the 5 has slight worse battery life.

Honestly, I think that the real importance would be if you prefer iOS or Android. I like both but as primary, I prefer iOS. However for media, my Note 3 is the best. It's amazing with movies and I have all my music on it. So, just think on which one would make you most happy. =)

I tend to jump back and forth year after year. So technically i prefer both of them which is why this time its becoming a hard decision.

There is some features in both os where some lack, and some gain.

As a phone iPhone works great. Also you are right for a media device Note 5, or 4 is a beast.

For now, I'm content with the Note 5 and my iPad mini; best of both worlds.

I believe iOS is perfect for tablets, although, I haven't used or owned an Android tablet, yet.

I don't like many of the Android tablets. My tablet is iOS too. I like how my information goes from my iPhone to my tablet.

My Note 3 is used every day though, just not as a phone. I've got over 500 songs on my SD card. That's the only reason why I didn't get a Note 5. I was planning to get one instead of an iPhone this year. I'm waiting to see what we've got upcoming next year. The note 5 looks nice, just add a spot near the SIM card for an SD card and I'm happy to get it.

Next year I'm going back to Android for a while.

Question: on the TMO variant, where do I disable the lock screen animation? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

If someone can answer me. Does the Note 5 still have that stupid dialer, with those ugly drawn faces on it?

Ask Samsung and their retailers.

It looks pretty bad, Samsung doesn't look like it wants to disclose any current numbers.
The only numbers Samsung has released so far were 10,000 units in the US and under 75,000 units in Korea. The Korean figure included s6 edge plus units.
