so guys what is the main plus for USB type C?
Not one thing, but several small things. It's suppose to be more durable, easier to use, and of course it's the future so you'll be future proofing yourself a bit.

And actually looking at the specs, the Note 6 might be the most future proof phone this year, especially if it comes with Android n.

faster data transfer..reversible so no more having to flip the cable to get it in the port. It's a lot like the lightning cable if you ask me.....
I still think the design of the lightning port is a little better, if you look inside the connectors of the USBc, there's a little slit that could still break and on the connector end garbage can collect in it, where as the lightning port you can only really get garbage collected on the port and that's it.

Really wish Apple had just open sourced it so everyone could use it and make it standard.

Great points...never thought of the cable end collecting anything inside it before :)

I wish they would have too.

Looks like we will be phone buddies this year.

I just got my S7E and over the moon with it but the Note 6 will get me. Then iPhone 7 after that.

That being said, I will probably keep the S7E as I love the camera, waterproofing, and design so much that I don't want to sell it.

I won't be getting the iphone . All rumours aren't interesting me.

Will keep my 6s plus as my 2nd phone. Want to keep the edge as i like the edge look. Who knows we may get a note edge too.

I will be getting the iPhone more for iOS 10 versus the rumors of the hardware it is getting. I am excited to see the changes as well as the new phone even if the rumors are true.

If the next iPhone 7 / 7+ is more of the same such as is rumored(same design language instead of major redesign like they normally do every 2 years), then I will possibly reconsider the Galaxy Note 6. However ecosystems make it more of a hassle to keep switching back and forth. It was a pain leaving the Note 3 behind because the apps didn't come along for the ride and resetting up with the iPhone and iOS was a hassle at first. However the Note 6 is sounding more and more impressive! If Apple plays their cards right, I'll stay. However if they don't, back to Samsung it is!

I'm using a Nexus 6 right now and I'd switch to the Note 6 if it were closer to the size of the Nexus 6.

I'm really liking this new software-centric Samsung. According Sammobile, SNote will be getting some very useful improvements. It's now a separate app on the playstore. So now we so far have Samsung's Write On PDF, Video Player, Music Player, Browser, and now SNote as separate apps that will get updated separately from the OS.

Weren't those always separate updates, just instead of the play store it was through the galaxy store? The cool thing is now those apps can be used on non Samsung phones, so I could still have access to my snotes if I switch to nexus. Would be cool if they made an iOS version.
