Quick update on my Note 7. Remember I reported some lag and slowness? More than I have ever had on Android.Well i did a factory reset through settings on the phone and it bootlooped. Went into recovery to do a factory reset and still the same bootloop.
I have a defective device :-(
I will go to TMO tomorrow to get a replacement. Maybe I will get the blue this time.
It's on my AT&T S7.Yea, it was definitely missing/hidden on USA firmwares.
Yeah, it's weird what the do to the systems sometimes. On my S7 I can't sort my settings into a long list, I have to keep that pages view instead, while t-mobile kept that option in. But on AT&T I can turn off the back light of the back and multitasking buttons, no such option on the t-mobile variant.Your carriers over there seem to butcher devices much more than even the worst European carrier ones. Whilst we do get bloat apps from carriers on branded devices or custom boot animations; usually all the features are at least present and intact regardless.
Quick question, do you have an SD card in the phone? If you do, have you tried turning it on without it? I remember my Note 4 had a wierd issue where if I had an SD card inserted at boot up it would boot loop until I removed it.Quick update on my Note 7. Remember I reported some lag and slowness? You need to make sure they're texting your number and not your Apple ID. Other than that, not sure. I've never had a problem with imessage before de registering my number when switching devices, in my expierence it's been instantaneous. When you turn off iMessage on all devices associated with my iPhone, how long until iPhone users can successfully send me messages? I turned iMessage off on my iPhone and iPad and my texts are not consistent as far as coming through to me.

Man, hope you can get it sorted out quickly, that would really suck if you had to wait an extended time to get your replacement.
On a more selfish note, I really hope it was just a lemon and not a bug in firmware as others have posted.
Wow, that's really bad. I don't think I've ever had that sort of problem on a phone before.I am leaning towards a defective device.....I was getting horrible battery life....more lag than I have ever had. Was even getting a delay on display touches. Sometimes it would not register my touches so I had touch icons a couple of times for it to register.
It's on my AT&T S7.

Good luck. I hope your exchange goes smoothly. Blue is nice but really you can't go wrong on any of the colors. I wish I could have one in each color! I've just been using mine as a camera since we haven't had time to properly set it up yet. The camera is totally blowing away anything I've been able to do with the iPhone in comparison. What I like is the wide angle selfie camera. Now at restaurants I can get myself in with the rest of the family and not have to take two photos on sections.Quick update on my Note 7. Thanks for the suggestion. i tried removing the SD card and the sim card and it doesn't make a difference.Quick question, do you have an SD card in the phone? Looks like you missed it, just checked my broken t-mo s7 edge.Wish I still had my S7 edge(T-mobile) to check. Either T-mobile took that out or I just plain missed it.

That is a seriously cracked screen!
Yup, and it was in a case too. Still trying to find a place to repair it on the cheap, the AT&T rep said it didn't matter how well it's repaired, as long as the screen turns on and isn't cracked they take it and payoff my t-mobile balance. Thinking if the iphone is decent, I might just wait until they have an iPhone bogo to do it. Last year AT&T had a bogo on the iphone around thanksgiving.OUCH!!!!!!
Thanks! At this point i really think it is a defective unit. I would rather get a replacement so as to not have the problems that led to the factory reset to begin with. Now if TMO is out of stock I might try those steps! One last thing to try ..... Smart Switch might detect a bootloop and do an emergency recovery on the device. Happened to me once when I was fooling around with custom firmware on the S6 edge. Emergency recovery also saved me several times back when Samsung was using Kies.

Yeah I am hoping they have emergency stock for replacements like mine. They can see how it bootloops and the Knox hasn't been tampered with so confident in that aspect. We will see tomorrowYea, good point. They might prioritize several phones for critical situations, vs just telling them it's laggy.
