I wonder if my S7 loaner was a huge lemon. I just did test videos between my iPhone 6S Plus and my Note 7. Both on 1080p 60fps. My S7 could not pan smoothly without introducing jitters and some artifacts when I tested it and used it before returning it.
By contrast, my Note 7 panned very smoothly. My S7 mic seemed to have no noise cancellation whatsoever and all my videos were marred by sounds like someone breathing on the mic. The N7 is dead quiet and records audio beautifully indoors and outdoors.
Compared to the iPhone 6SPlus, the Note 7 did a generally better job exposing the scene and accounting for window light for interior shots while balancing subjects inside of the room so that the windows didn't become the focus of the scene and make everything else dark. The iPhone 6SPlus tended to expose for the windows and leave everything else in shadows. Of course I could manually compensate but I was testing full auto functionality.
For sound there was no comparison as I listened through the Samsung headphones. The Note 7 recorded all sound in stereo and the iPhone doesn't. The Note 7 audio brought me into the scene.
White balance was better on the iPhone 7.
There were instances the iPhone did better and instances the Note 7 did better, but overall the Note 7 was the winner for me.
At this point I'm now contemplating keeping my 6S Plus and waiting to see if Samsung learned its lesson about QC and customer service and see what they do for the Galaxy S8. I don't think I am touching the S7 again because the lemony freshness of that S7 frankly put me off badly and I really do want to see if Samsung does learn from its recent fiasco with the N7 and the scandal of the S7 Actives not being very active after all. I'm hoping they pull their collective heads out of their butts and get their quality and customer service up to match the appeal of their robust feature sets.
I haven't wiped the iPhone 7 completely out of consideration yet, but given the audio hiss issues some people are starting to report, I won't be rushing out to buy one anyway. I'm going to give Apple a chance to catch up with their demand, so if I do get an IPhone 7, and there is a problem, exchanging won't be difficult.
So, SE and Note 7 will be my dream team for awhile, unless my N7 starts acting bonkers for some reason. I'm braced for just about anything at this point. 2016 is just shaping up to be that kind of year.

Is it just me, or is the finger print sensor faster now on the replacements? The delay between the lock screen and home screen is basically gone.
My iPhone 7 Plus seems slightly slower unlocking because of the home screen animation.

You'll definitely need the percentage text next to it. The green battery icon is a two tone green, the empty space is a light green. Which makes it hard to differentiate between the two tones at glance. But on the AOD the empty space is actually void of color(how it suppose to be).
It's not just you. The finger print sensor is so much improved over what I had before.
