Latest rumors say it will have 4000mAh. It's the note dude, note has always bigger battery than the s-line. Can't believe it will have the same battery size with a bigger display.

SlashGear said:One of the missteps that Samsung made with the Galaxy S6 was to take away the removable battery, which was exacerbated by the fact that it had a rather modest 2,550 mAh battery. The OEM partly corrected that with the Galaxy S7 by giving it a still non-removable but bigger 3,000 mAh pack. Samsung might be dragged again into the battery debate with the Galaxy Note 7 (or Note 6) now that the latest word is that it will have a 3,600 mAh battery instead of the earlier leaked and hoped for 4,000 mAh.
The leak also reiterates that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 64/128/256GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 12-megapixel dual-pixel phase-detection rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 4,000 mAh battery with fast-charging support and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the new Grace UX. This will be Samsung’s first mobile device to feature a USB Type-C port, thus ditching the micro USB port for good.
I saw a Samsung rep at a TMO store the other day. I asked him about the Note 7 and he said he could could not talk about it. So i asked if most of the leaks were correct and again he just smiled and said all phone specs also leak before a phone is released huh? He left it at that. I would say they are all under NDA or just don't know.....Do the Samsung employees have to sign a confidentiality contract ? I'm just wondering.
Given this will have the 3600 battery and curved screen, the differences between this and the S7 edge are:
- .2'' difference in screen size
- usb type C
- spen
- iris scanner
- 2GB more ram
- minor revision in processor
I honestly can't see why anyone with an Edge would pay $800 for this just to have an spen. All the Samsung users claim there is absolutely no lag or RAM issues in the Edge, so the ram is processor mean nothing. The iris scanner would likely never be used. USB type C likely brings faster charging, but again everyone seems to like wireless.
Bigger battery is the only thing I can guess would sway somebody. But even that is pretty minimal upgrade.
I think it will come with a 4000 mAh battery as well. Then the S-Pen......I don't use it very much. But it is nice to have every now then. It is a worthy upgrade over the Note 5 imho.64 GB base internal memory is huge (for me anyway). Reason I never got the edge was the 32GB memory.
64 GB built in and micro SD for my media = perfect.

Better more streamlined TW.
Better ram management from TW improvements
64GB starting storage
4000 mAh battery
Rumored S-Pen improvements
Speed bump to faster chipset
Modest camera software improvements
SD Card
IP68 certification so it has waterproofing

I can see that happening at some point. The only thing separating them would be the S-Pen. I mean they have almost the same specs and body style. I really hoped they would have 2 models of the Note 7. A flat screen and curved screen version. But it looks like they might just release a curved screen model.Yes, agreed improvement over the note 5. I am just trying to see the differences between the S7 Edge and the S7 Note. Seems they have pretty much converged which is confusing.

3600 latest on PhoneArena and others but their source could be dodgy.
Russian leaker Eldar Murtazin, who has had a pretty solid Samsung leak record in the past, is the one behind this latest information

Notorious Russian leakster, Eldar Murtazin has been responsible for a few credible leaks in the past. Even so, he has also been responsible for some controversial reports as well
Don't forget IP68 certification for waterproofing....the first Note to have it and return of the SD card and 64GBI will sell my s7 Edge and Buy the Note 7, so Here is the First one
It will have Minor CPU Upgrade, more RAM, s Pen, improved tw and bigger battery, bigger Display, Iris Scanner....
And dont' forget Double internal Storage (64gb), this is awesome.
Note 7 will be best Smartphone this year, like every year...
Wouldn't be major improvements on the the s7 edge if the battery is same size for me. Bigger screen helps thoughI will sell my s7 Edge and Buy the Note 7, so Here is the First one
