Maybe I'm not understanding the chart correctly, but isn't that with autobrightness? I don't use autobrightness.
Only one of the columns features auto brightness.
Average, full, and peak aren't.

You haven't answered my question......We were discussing Mbkhd getting 3 sot.
One other poster posted he got 5 hours sot at full brightness, but was less when he was browsing.
Web browsing indoors at full brightness, users will average between 410 nits and 550 nits, that's iPhone 6s bright.
So yeah I believe mkbhd use case scenario was accurate will mirror my own.
I agree. At least he admits there is lag, some posters such as your self claim that to be false.
You haven't answered my question......
So....wait you have/had a Note 7? I know they are not available for sale in the UK right now. Do you ever plan on getting a Note 7? How do you know how MBKHD uses his phone?
I do watch his videos.......so you use your phone's exactly like he does? Is that what you are saying? It really wasn't clear....What question.
Yeah I had one for a day before it was recalled.
When they get back on the market.
Watch his videos.
So you, a person who does not have the phone, is gonna tell everyone else here who actually has the phone, what their individual experience is with their phone?
But displayMate backs up what everyone else has said. The Note 7 display gets brighter and consumes more battery life because of that. A 4K display that can produce 1050 nits will consume more energy than a display of lesser specs.....No, I'm calling into question some posters claims and have backed it up with data by displaymate.

lol....and...... people don't use their phones outside? Still a 4k display that can reach 1050 nits will consume more energy. That point cannot be questioned. You just trying to argue things now. why are you trying to ding the Note 7 display? Wasn't it voted the best display on any smartphone by DisplayMate.Yes but the 1000 nits only kicks in direct sunlight or if you cover the light sensors with your finger while indoors.
http://www.imore.com/iphone-7-display-approaches-limits-lcd-technology-displaymateDisplayMate points out that the iPhone 7 has an average peak of 602 nits when set to manual maximum brightness, but can rise to 705 nits with automatic brightness enabled. Only Samsung's Galaxy Note 7, which reached over 1,000 nits in DisplayMate's tests, consistently beat the iPhone 7's peak brightness.
Exactly....anyone that has both phones can clearly see a difference.Anyone that looks at the iP7+ and the Note 7 display side by side at any level of brightness in person, and actually says that the iP7+ has a better display .........needs their eyes checked.

Sure.....were you doubting I have both phones?Well since you have both care to post a picture with both phones set on maximum brightness?
Sure.....were you doubting I have both phones?
Oh now it's your turn....did you ever have a Note 7? Proof? do you even have a IP7? Proof?

I couldn't replicate direct sunlight because it is overcast and raining here in AZ. But at least both phones are water resistant The 7+ is heavier in the hand. But I really like both phones tbh.....Wow, the iPhone form factor looks so dated next to the Note 7. Good pic.

Hey to be fair maybe they looked at the Noe first and suffered eye damage because it was so brightAnyone that looks at the iP7+ and the Note 7 display side by side at any level of brightness in person, and actually says that the iP7+ has a better display .........needs their eyes checked.
I wish they would remove that logo from the front! The Note looks the same as previous Notes face on. They still write Samsung on the front too.

The speakers are great on the 7+. But they do vibrate a lot when holding the phone.Guess I am old school. I think the 7+ looks aesthically better from the front. I listened to the speakers on the 7 and they blow the Note away. That is really high on my list. Screen on the Note is much nicer though (minus the edge part imho). I don't like the Samsung logo. I don't really like either of them from the back. But those are opinions of mine!
No he doesn't, he says he gets occasional lag. Is it possible to not ruin our thread again. Carte Blanche you are right and the rest of the forum is wrong, I'll even mail you a certificate if we can just continue discussing our phone in peace.I agree. At least he admits there is lag, some posters such as your self claim that to be false.
Yeah I've got go look, but I'm being very careful what I put on it in terms of root stuff.Have you had a look on XDA to see if there is an xposed mod for it. I don't think there is any other way under normal circumstances.
