Getting pretty nervous that I will not receive mine on launch day. It has said ready to be picked up since sunday, but UPS hasn't got around to picking it up. Usually even overnight packages take a few days to reach me in Honolulu

Me too very nervous Traded in My Note 5 for $240 at Sprint and paid $100 bucks for my Note 7 currently using old iPhone 5s until Friday. Sprint has Zero confirmation or confidence they will have them available. Thank Goodness on my SERO Premium line I could still get the 2 year contract price.

No UPS Tracking Number either.

Friday is gonna very very stressful.

Cnet Uk review gives it a 9.0

THE GOOD The Galaxy Note 7 is a beautiful, capable Android phone that showcases Samsung's best in design, battery life, speed and features. The 64GB base model leaves you plenty of space for photos, videos and games, and it's a real improvement over 2015's Note 5.

THE BAD It's pricier than almost every other Android phone, and a little heavy. After seven iterations, there are still minor problems writing with the S Pen stylus. Fine particles, like beach sand, can wedge the stylus in its holder.

THE BOTTOM LINE The Galaxy Note 7 is the best no-compromise, big-screen phone you can buy if price is no object. All but the most devoted stylus lovers, however, will do just as well with the cheaper S7 models.

If I can't get it from carphone warehouse on 30th of August with the free gear VR then I'll have to get it on contract from o2 as it's sold out on samsung's website.
just checked CPW and it has sim free available for 30th august but no VR. think it's saved for just contracts

Tomorrow's the day I'm supposed to get mine, I haven't got a case yet (in the post) so I'm not too worried if I don't get it immediately,
I'm glad I chose black, it looks mean as..
Damn you US guts get great deals on extras, I'm paying full price and getting a 128GB card (low end evo I think) and that's it.
Then again, I'm happy it's exynos, Snapdragon looks to be a little less frugal with the battery.

That might be why my Note 5 battery was never an issue?
Did they make a Snapdragon Note 5?

I should have ordered to have mine delivered before Friday! I did the launch day in store pre-order with Target because you also get an extra $100 Target gift card with the bundle.

Just bought a house so Target gift cards are handy haha

Oh my god, Gorilla Glas 5 has clearly no real scratch resistance, that explains the photos from the demo units. Scratches already at 3 on mohs scale of hardness, this is embarrassing compared to Gorilla Glas 4 (scratches at 6).

Using a screen protector on my s7 edge had a cheap feeling and i removed it and have till today no scratches.
On the Note 7 it's get even worse with screen protector because writing on it with the s-pen feels really bad.

Looks like that, any kind of display protection will be needed.
That's annoying that it doesn't provide as much protection for scratches as GG4 or even more shockingly GG3.

Those that live in areas where the phone will be exposed to sand or grit had better invest sooner rather than later in some screen protection. I won't dare to take mine out naked, it would be a game if Russian roulette.

Yeah Gorilla Glas 5 is now a disadvantage for me, because i use cases for drop protection but no screen protectors because there are no good glas protectors for edge panels.

I've ordered a tempered glass screen protector from Ali, I'll let you guys know how it is. My note 5 has had one on since day one and still looks perfect.
