My first two charges I've been getting between 4-5 hours..
Here is my new Feather Shine case from Incipio. I went with the grey bushed metal color versus the black. It's just a bushed metal look, the case is made of plastic. It doesn't offer that much protection, but I am not a big fan of cases to begin with, I would rather my phones be naked. But I'm not entirely thrilled with how much the camera protrudes from the back shell so I went with a super thin case. Plus it gives a bit of protection to the back cover. So far I like the case, only thing is that the sleep/wake button and volume buttons are tough to press. They are on sale on Amazon right now.
I think my screen time has been about 5 -6 hours.....

I think someone made the point about store display phones presenting some lag. It they are constantly being played with and running a advertising presentation 24x7 at the store it might have an effect of the the OS and memory management.
Try rebooting the phone then play around with it. It might make a difference. Just a thought.
Quick question when I go into apps management and go to running apps I have loads with a running time.. Do I need to go into each one and click stop? Is this important for helping battery life?
The 9 million extra pixels are the biggest featuretbh
But yeah I love HTC Zoe's and dig HTC Share too.
If we could combine the S4's camera and HTC's Zoe and share I'd be in Nirvana
Are the S4's sold in Ireland the i9500 or i9505?

Yeah basically were getting exact same phones as UK. My vodafone S4 however was completely unbranded and unlocked.
Even my HTC One actually carries Vodafone UK firmware and is sim free.
Hopefully this approach speeds up rollout of updates. My HTC one got the 1.29 update very quickly in retrospect (whilst America still waits)...
I went to Vodafone on Grafton yesterday and they insisted their phones are locked. 3 said the same thing and when I bought the One from 3 it was in fact locked.
If I can convince them to let me put my SIM in one of their phones I might be buying an S4 from Vodafone in the next few days since you're saying it's unlocked.
I agree but they're also stubborn and assume I'm as clueless as them. I wouldn't want to risk it if they tell me they can't open the box so worst case scenario I'll get it from ebay or Expansys.
Now that I've had a little bit more time with the Incipio case, I'm not sure I like it. A little too blingy for me. And the sleep/wake and volume buttons are hard to press. Might give it a little longer to get used to it, but I don't have high hopes for it.
Do yourself a favour, save money and just get Galaxy S3 instead. Not much difference.

I am interested to see once the nexus version comes out if they will easily be able to port the build of stock android to other carrier versions( mainly verizon) If they are able to do that, I will most likely try out the s4 to change things up for a little.
Yeah, I'm not thrilled with it. After using it for a couple days, I am disliking it more and more. Too "blingy" for me, the online pics were really misleading. I just placed an order for the Spigen Hybrid Neo case. Should have it next week.
At least I got this Incipio case on sale, lol.
