Galaxy S4
I'll preface by saying my statements do not come from a place of Apple fanboyism. I've many Android devices (S4, One & N5 included) and the iPhone 5 was my first Apple phone I purchased (about 8 months ago).

It is. It's a fundamental difference in the way they operate. Android runs within a virtual machine on the device, whereas iPhone has direct access to hardware. One reason why Android devices with double the power hiccup next to iPhones.I don't think that is true at all. The S4 alone had problems before updates. But ALL Android phones are laggy? That just not true...

I have doubts. I've never ever seen any Android device, Nexus 5 included, as smooth as an iPhone 5.not true.
I've had my S4 for almost a year, running a kitkat rom and I dont experience any lag.
