My Tmobile S4 is downloading a 387MB update right now. Hopefully, KitKat is on its way.

Edit: My S4 is updated to KitKat. Other than the transparent status bar and white icons, can't really find anything different.

No other device offers stock android, sd card, + removable battery

just sayin :p

That's what I'm thinking. Was going to buy a moto X - but €130 price difference and the S4 has better specs all round and I at least know what I'm getting as I've had a white S4 previously.

sometimes I'm jealous of the motox form factor, but I think the gs4ge will win in longevity. I'm planning on keeping this phone for a good while.

I agree, I believe the S4 will surpass most Androids available today. In fact, I just picked up new one today. :)

Got my S4 Google Edition today rocking pure 4.4.2 - god it is so small compared to the Lumia 1520. In fact the whole surface area is smaller than the screen size of the Lumia 1520... After using big devices (Note 3 / 1520) you forget how small a 5" device is :D

edit: problems *mostly* resolved. Seems that an additional reboot was needed to get everything back up and running properly after the 4.4 update.

4.4.2 and ART runtime on the GE S4 is blazing fast. The difference in memory usage over normal S4 is shocking. I have 9 apps open and at 719mb used with over 1gb free....

Just got the 4.4.2 update on my i9500 Octa. Performance is pretty much the same, so I'm not complaining.

Not much UI tweaks but then again I'm using the G. Now Launcher.

They changed the fonts across the UI though.

Also just received the 4.4.2 update on my AT&T S4. Took me FOREVER to figure out how to get my Nova launcher back. Once I did widgets would cause it to crash every time. After a restart, things seem to be back to normal. I hope it's back to normal, that was annoying.

Anybody using the Google Now launcher on their S4? Does the "OK, Google" hot word work anymore? It used to work fine for me on 4.2.2, but stopped after the 4.3 update. Doesn't work on 4.4.2 either.
