One of the big things I ask for is a dedicated shutter button for the camera, say for instance using the volume button. Does the GS3 utilize that or are you stuck with the on-screen button?

I've read reviews saying you can use the volume rocker as the camera shutter for the s4.

I just trimmed my sim down to micro sim and all was good!

I also expect you to exercise caution as there's a chance you might accidentally trim it to a size too small for it to quality as a MicroSIM. Made that mistake, had to call my carrier to send me a proper MicroSIM...

Wonder if the price will come down on launch?

Think it will be available to order on launch? Or will the sell out..

I'm starting to like Galaxy S4 design. It is a good improvement on Galaxy S III.

I like how thin the bezel is, makes the screen "pop". The home button is in the centre now, unlike on Galaxy S III and it also has a better shape.

I wonder why doesn't Samsung move their logo to the back, that way they could make the top and the bottom bezels narrower too.

My sentiments to the letter. The update in design actually has significant repercussions for the overall look of the device. The "chin" on the S3 with the off-center home button is horrible.

I didn't mind the design of the S3 TBH, although I do agree with you to some extent. :)

Some good reading here on the possible reasons behind the design of the S3.

I think its the other way around. The Samsung logo is there to fill the space made by the hardware inside the phone. The space is probably need for various antenna etc.

No lag in the interface here

Excellent video. I mean, really, I've never seen a smartphone demonstration look like this before.

People can call these features gimmicks or innovation or anything in between. The point is, Samsung is making smartphones that can be interacted with like no other smartphone before.

That video clearly demonstrates that.

Are you veering more and more towards the S4 couch? Have you made your mind up yet or still undecided?

S4 is definitely the front runner unless the USA reviews reveal some cataclysmic issue. I really want to like the One and I still plan to give it some sort of shot, be it a handling at the store or preferably the developer's edition if it has a good and simple return policy should I not like it.

But I fear the developer's edition doesn't run on Tmo's LTE bands. I could always get the Tmo version, but I prefer unlocked.

Time will tell, I guess.

Samsung may announce soon more big screen smarphones/phablets:
http://www.sammobile.com/2013/04/02/galaxy-mega-smartphones-are-upcoming/
Big, bigger, biggest, mega, the new Galaxy Mega smartphones are upcoming. Samsung changed the name of their expected Galaxy Fonblets and they are now called Galaxy Mega. Samsung wants to introduce 2 smartphones with big displays. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 code named GT-I9152. This code directly hints on a big DUOS smartphone based on Android with a display size of 5.8”. The other expected mega device is the Galaxy Mega 6.3 code named GT-I9200. The display of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is expected to be 6.3”, this display size was previously rumoured for the Galaxy Note III.

Oh God the moniker 'Mega' sounds so early '90's'........

True, Sega can confirm it, and even sue as most of today's companies :D
Next product: "The SuperPhone FX II" :D

Looks like AT&T caved in to all the backlash and lowered the price, plus they're bringing the 32gb Galaxy S4 this time around! $199/16gb $249/32gb

I'll pre-order a black 32gb next week.

http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/03/att-galaxy-s-4-pricing/

Interesting timing, AT&T: just a day after the HTC One pricing was announced, the carrier has clarified its launch plans for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. We already knew the phone would be available on pre-order for $250 on April 16th, but AT&T has now specified that this will be for the 32GB model; the 16GB flavor will actually be $200, both with two-year commitments. This certainly doesn't help HTC's hopes of conquering the world, though the $200 One will at least hold twice as much internal storage as the GS 4 (although Samsung's flagship at least offers expandable memory, whereas the One does not). AT&T still hasn't announced an official release date, so that's the last remaining piece of the puzzle yet to be revealed.
