Thanks! Any idea how to make Samsung Hubs music widget stop popping up on my lock screen? Also every time I connect to bluetooth in mt car it only displays the music info from samsung hub song thats not even playing. This is driving me nuts. Ive tried re syncing, clear cache and stopping it in the task manager. Idk what else to do.

Settings - My Device - Lockscreeen - Lockscreen Widgets. From there you should be able to turn off what you don't want.

Not sure about the Bluetooth display issue, mine works fine.

I always love DetroitBorg's reviews! :)

YouTube: video

Love his reviews, I'm watching this one right now.

He mentions that the rear speaker has some plastic protective covering on it that you can take off. He elects not to take it off during the review. Does anyone know if that plastic hinders the sound at all?

Repost from another thread- a cool work around for those that are used to photo stream.

A basic tutorial showing how to use Automator to move files from the Dropbox photo uploads to iPhoto (and by extension photo stream)

Works pretty well, though of course I'm not sure how to get photo stream images back to my S4 (though I guess since it's all I'll use for photos it's moot.

I saw some display non working models in Carphone Warehouse and PC World this afternoon, I am undecided as to which colour I prefer, black or white? The black seemed to show fingerprints easier. I did like the feel of them though, they do seem a slight notch up in quality (sturdier) than the S3. Would have loved to have played with a working model but both places said that they would not have stock until at least Wednesday. :)

I was going to get the black, but I saw the white and it waas just too sexy. The super deep, true blacks of an AMOLED display look fantastic contrasted against the thin white bezels.

And like you said, fingerprints.

I had the chance to play with a display S4 at Best Buy and AT&T yesterday. Absolutely beautiful phone. I was surprised by how nice it felt in hand! I was expecting it to feel cheap and, for the lack of a better term, nasty. It was nothing of the sort!

I really loved the display quality as well. This phone, IMO, is the real deal!

Between the S4 and HTC's ONE, my next phone will likely be running Android instead of iOS. These phones are that good!

AT&T activation system was down yesterday for hours.....but it gave me time to play with the S4. WOW nice! I have the HTC One and getting a little jealous.......We are getting the S4 for my teenage son today to replace his IP5. But man..... i might have to get one too :)

My wife does a lot of multimedia on her iPhone 5. She doesn't care about removable back cover etc, but when she heard the One's speakers she was starting to get sold on the phone.

I bought the S4 but that is because of the removable cover, I liked the One in some ways better.

After cancelling my upgrade because I was told I wasn't getting one, I have just received a tracking number telling me it will arrive tomorrow!
Problem is I bought an iphone 5 yesterday which is on its second time going back to the store, first had broken power button and the second has a broken SIM card slot and dust under the screen.
My dilemma now is is which one do I keep? I think the screen of the GS4 will push me over.
Why doesn't iOS allow Swype!!!!

Love the home button location on the S4 and the wake button on the side. Like where the dedicated back button is too. But I also love the front facing speakers on the One...the sound is awesome. Love the build and materials in the One...but at the same time the S4 is not cheap feeing at all. It feels like a premium phone to me.....

The back of the S4 feels cheap, but to me it is not a cheap phone.

Cheap plastic feel DOES NOT describe this phone. The phone is extremely sturdy in hand. Can't believe some of the BS that's being spread. Movie mode will give you the color accuracy if you desire. I prefer the default settings. I don't need the added color accuracy. I prefer my screen to pop, and I mean POP! This is the kind of contrast that just makes everything on the screen come to life. Can't wait till mine gets here. Now just gotta wait on Spigen to ship the Slim Armor mid May.

+1 on the feel and looks of the s4. Ever in a pinch for a mirror, well just flip the phone over.

I use earbuds for listening. What I heard so far for movies and music I have no problem with.

Thanks for posting this. Losing Photostream between my wife, my mother and I is one of the reasons I'm not dumping my iPhone 5 just yet... however, the link you provided is no good. Got a working one? I'd love to check this out. Thanks!

Yup. The people trashing the plastic of the S4 are the same idiots who were supporting the plastic of the iPhone 3G/S

I looked at the S4 today and the screen looks bad to me on the default settings. Those colors are yucky. Movie mode looks just as good as IPS to me, with the added benefit of having true blacks.

I thought it felt great in my hand. I disagree with the reviews saying the build feels cheap.

The S4 was very laggy. Every single app I opened hesitated before launching. Several times I tapped an icon twice before the app would launch, because I thought it didn't register my tap, and then I could tell it was dropping frames when launching the apps.

I still prefer stock Android over TouchWiz. I don't like anything at all about the UI, and replacing the launcher isn't enough to fix the things I dislike about it. It still looks like an ugly adaptation of Gingerbread.

I might just try the Nexus 4 again to hold me over until the Nexus 5. I looked at the One but I found the button placement for home, volume, and power annoying enough to skip it.
