What camera updates specifically?
Yes, please, elaborate jamezr. Do you have a source for this info?
EDIT: I found this, doesn't mention anything about the camera.

I've seen commercials on TV that have used a Galaxy like smartphone to showcase a mobile app without a brand name or symbol on the phone. I'm pretty sure it was a TDbank commercial.
There is actually a name for that. "Product displacement."It's funny - I've seen some where the hardware *looks* like some Android tablet but the display has the tell-tale iOS status bar.
Generally they tend to get rid of the home button if they use an "iPad" but Apple hasn't paid for the product placement.
Couch, you do realize that they're in those commercials as well because Samsung is paying them--it's called product placement and isn't usually done out of the goodness of they're heart. Every time you see a specific product in a TV show or movie, it's because they've been paid to include it, basically in show advertising.
Is there a way to get videos to play back full-screen? The menu bar at the bottom (with the Play, Rewind, FF buttons) takes up about 1/3 of the screen and I can't find a way to hide it.
Assuming I understand correctly, just tapping the screen should do it. But they should go away on their own.
Michael
Not when holding in Landscape mode. Frustrating the crap out of me!

Tap the screen and its full screen, tap it again and the menus show up again.
Anyone know how to get "Life Companion" off of the lock screen?

Hahaha, oh man........life companion....
And people get all perturbed over the marketing pizzazz behind the term "retina".
Haha, I may stick with my HTC One if I can't get this thing off the lock screen.
