Yes, please, elaborate jamezr. Do you have a source for this info?

EDIT: I found this, doesn't mention anything about the camera.

Received the update this morning. RAM usage did drop for me, which is nice but I never ran into RAM issues before. Also, returning to the home screen from an app is a lot smoother now. That is where I saw the "lag" before a lot, which I'm pretty sure was just a framerate issue. The transitions when switching between apps is snappier too.

I've seen commercials on TV that have used a Galaxy like smartphone to showcase a mobile app without a brand name or symbol on the phone. I'm pretty sure it was a TDbank commercial.

It's funny - I've seen some where the hardware *looks* like some Android tablet but the display has the tell-tale iOS status bar.

Generally they tend to get rid of the home button if they use an "iPad" but Apple hasn't paid for the product placement.

There is actually a name for that. "Product displacement."

Is there a way to get videos to play back full-screen? The menu bar at the bottom (with the Play, Rewind, FF buttons) takes up about 1/3 of the screen and I can't find a way to hide it.

Couch, you do realize that they're in those commercials as well because Samsung is paying them--it's called product placement and isn't usually done out of the goodness of they're heart. ;) Every time you see a specific product in a TV show or movie, it's because they've been paid to include it, basically in show advertising.

I don't think Samsung paid for the S3 and S4 to be in other commercials, I think they just use a recognisable design to represent Android phones and Samsung's is the most popular and therefore the most recognisable.

However I'm sure they do pay to be included in TV shows and movies. At least they're not as bad as Microsoft on that front though; they do it far too blatantly. There was this episode of HIMYM which was essentially a 30 minute Microsoft commercial and it was awful.

Assuming I understand correctly, just tapping the screen should do it. But they should go away on their own.

Tap the screen and its full screen, tap it again and the menus show up again.

Has to be software since it obviously registers touch. Also, it doesn't seem to change anything when you tapped the full-screen/windowed/stretched button. When I cycle through that you can easily see the change in the video being played.

For grins try it without having the multi-tasking thing enabled (hold down back button).

Also try the video in MX Player and it should hide the controls. If not that would be really strange.

Just saw the S4 and played with it for a couple of minutes.

Ive got the S3 and at first I though there was not much worth upgrading to, but two things caught my attention: the screen and the small changes in design.

I though I wouldnt notice the screen difference but I did. I could notice it felt bigger, with much vibrant colors and more bright. It is an amazing screen. Now I feel my 720p S3 screen is not as good as I though :D:D:D

The small changes in design are also a plus. The home button felt stronger and better, since it is a little big bigger and maybe they changed something internally. The front bezel is also smaller and the metal looking edges made the device look more appealing.

On the software side not much difference.

Those two points were the ones that I appreciated more. I wont upgrade to it from my S3 but it does feel like a good update. Im waiting for the Nexus 5 probably.

Where can I download the S4 wallpapers in the same resolution so they can fit nicely on my S3? I only found them in wide, which wont fit on my S3 just as they do on the S4.

Must be native resolution and aspect ratio.
