Is there anyway to change the lock screen background?

You should put that setting in your quick settings. You have nine spots for most common settings used. This is from my Note 4. The S6 should be similar.

If your using Touchwiz launcher,

Hold on screen till you see wallpaper option. Then choose lockscreen from top left.

If you choose just lock screen you can actually apply multiple photos so that your lock screen changes incrementally.

You probably don't have too many snakes in your neck of the woods.
Well history (or mythology) says that St. Patrick banished all the snakes from Ireland ...

At least of the reptilian variety. Now the only snakes are the politicians ;)

The only reptiles we have native are small newts and a tiny lizard.

Unfortunately, we have a plethora of those too (politicians).

On a different note, I've found that turning off sync REALLY cuts down on the battery standby drain. Works fine for me since I don't really rely on emails for urgent info. Just a thought.

How are you guys fairing with battery life with the S6/S6E? I am getting comfortable and starting to realize that's its no 6+ and I'm not expecting it to be but I think I can pull around 4.5/5 hrs of SOT if I use it regularly and not beasting out on it. I still haven't put it down since I had it seems like.

4 - 5 hours is where I'm at normally. However I keep my charger in my bag usually and the wireless charger stays home. Because the S6 charges insanely fast, a quick 15 minute top off and I am good for several additional hours.

It really is crazy how quickly it charges, and it makes a huge difference in overall endurance experience.

What is the quality of the packaged earbuds that accompany the S6, easily beaten by most others you own?

I feel they're better than the apple ear buds, if only because they fit my ears better.

100% agree. They fit so much better and feel and sound better too.

Honestly, apple earphones and earpods were always garbage to me.

PS. Thanks for all the help with the lock screen wallpaper. Don't know how I missed that. Didn't realize it was a drop down menu to change to lock screen wallpaper.

Yeah likewise the fact that you can actually select multiple images and have them change on the lock screen is another little secret that don't make clear to users.

Can someone tell me what the hell this is? It keeps showing up randomly. Annoying and I don't want it. It seems like its part of the settings but I can't find it again once I decline. It keeps coming back.

Not bad at all, pretty decent but when i put in my SkullCandy earbuds that were only $15 , they sound a lot better.

Thats the thing about pure Android, it doesnt get little things like that. Iliked my Nexus 5 but i missed the little things that Samsung does. You just have to put up with some bloat apps and disable them.

Yeah I hate the fact that on stock android I can't choose a separate lock screen to home screen wallpaper. It really is one simple little addition that just isn't supported on stock android and I just can't understand how allowing this option would dilute from the stock experience. Frustrating.

With wireless charging on my desk at work, I leave work with my device at about 80-85% all the time.

Wireless charging is a huge win. HTC, Motorola, and Apple really need to get onboard with it. It's convenient, easy to use (just put it down!), has plenty of affordable options, and more importantly, keeps topping off your battery so you don't have to worry about battery life anymore.

I said this before, with the S6's average battery size and longevity, one really needs to take advantage of the Quick Charge or wireless charging to complete the experience.

Just further thoughts about Apple and wireless charging: When and if Apple jumps on board, they'll probably use some sort of their own proprietary standard of wireless charging. Maybe some how through the maglock charger or something...? How they'll do it, I'm not sure. But if they don't go with the standards like Qi, it'll mean more proprietary accessories for them to sell. That would sort of suck for the users as it'll mean less options.
