Exactly. I'm sure there are many other payment companies/systems that use the bold crazy naming convention of "company-name" + "Pay."
Funny...even the name iphone was in use before Apple used it. Even the name icloud was used by another company before Apple used that name as well.
Apple fans think Apple created everything and everyone copies Apple.

indeed. No one made a big deal about how Jobs and Apple pretty much stole the name iPhone and iOS from Cisco.

Samsung is actually no stranger to bottom headset jacks. My Tab S' headphone jack is on the bottom as well as the Galaxy Nexus.

My iPhone 4S never managed to reach "Smash-tastic" status.

Then again I managed to own an iPhone 6 for 13 days and not bend it.

Some people shouldn't have nice things.

Though I am sure most S6 owners will manage to live without breaking their device, there will be devices that get ground up because their owners have butter fingers.

I have to ask; what happened after 13 days?

Weak argument. Note 4 has 2 extra cores.

It's not a,weak argument.the exynos note 4 out performed the iPhone 6 and 6 plus and came out at the same time.that is how this debate started

Samsung already beat the iPhone before the gs6

My interest is peaked. And I have no shame in admitting the colors are what did it for me. The emerald green looks gorgeous and this is the first gold phone I've seen that I thought was pretty.

I remember when the S5 was released last year and many people bought it on this subforum, but mostly everyone still though Touchwiz had lag and ended up selling the phone to buy something else.

I predict this will happen again this year with the S6 :D:D

It's new and it seems Samsung has finally fixed many issues, but... I believe Touchwiz is still the same and most people will still hate it.

Lollipop is flying on my gs5 and is by far a lot better then it was a launch.

I'm willing to bet if people tried the gs5 today they would absolutely love it on lollipop

You would need to have access to a charging point to make use of this though. I suppose you could always buy the mophie case when it gets released.

4 hours in 10 minutes is amazing though.

Yeah, it's a compromise. However, the quick-charging means you could charge it while driving a relatively short distance to a point of real usefulness. My car charger works well for my Note 3 and iPhone 6 Plus (with lightning adapter) and they're not even quickcharging.

At present, the iPhone 6 plus has excellent battery life. In a year, how long will it last? That's one of the nice things about removable batteries that solves this problem. In the past, I've used a couple of Mophie cases and they were ok. Unfortunately, the battery case adds a lot of bulk and they don't last as long as advertised. Personally, I've never tried a Zero Lemon battery, though. But, battery cases can be used in certain circumstances (like long bike rides to remote areas with no power outlets) so at least there is alternative power sources.

As for how long the S6 or Note 5 batteries last, we shall see...

I am thinking about getting the G6 Edge and selling my 128gb 6 plus. The only thing stopping me is that the rest of my family is all iOS. I also have Apple TVs in every room. So would it be possible to somehow make it work in an Apple family?

Would be a huge mistake IMO. Especially after reading your sig.

That's what I think but the tech coming out of this new phone is pretty nice. I actually recently sold my Air and iPad. I felt like my iPhone can do it all.

I think you should go for it. Get out the bubble for awhile. If you don't like it, you can always go back to the iPhone.

Here's how this will work: you'd get the Edge, keep it for a few weeks, then realized, "I should have stayed with my iPhone" You'll proceed to sell your Edge, then come back to the iPhone because you probably wanted an Apple Watch in April. :)

I'm joking. Go ahead and get your Edge. You'll be back. Lol.

Price and lack of cases probably keeps me from the Edge. I really do not like the idea of a glass back and dont like they ditched the SD Micro slot.

Incipio and Speck already sent me emails for cases, for both phones. I know Spigen will have cases for the S6, can't remember if they will have any for the Edge.

I do think the issue may be tempered glass screen protectors.

There is already a ton of cases avalible for the edge. Spigen is my favorite case maker and they already have 7 cases ready. I definitely be getting one to keep the camera flush with the back and the screen not touching the surface when laid down.
