Good, cos the emerald green is mine !!!! I hope it's offered here on the emerald isle as an option or I'll be truly peeved.

Damn.....

I've been thinking I'll hold off until the Note 5. But that Green Edge is gorgeous. I might have to COPY:eek: you....at this point, I'd get it just for the novelty of the "edge" thing. And to REALLY see if I can find some usefulness for it.

I've got a Next upgrade burning a hole in my pocket :D

Yes! The emerald green should be the default color for the emerald island! :)

I recently posted about this function for the Note 4 in the Note 4 thread. I just recently saw the option. Lol.
It only works with the stock browser, and that's completely fine as that's all I use. Absolutely love this extended use of the fingerprint scanner.

The stock browser is better than Chrome?

Dual wireless charging on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

Samsung includes both Qi and PMA wireless charging standards in the S6 and S6 Edge. Meaning any of your existing wireless chargers will work. No need to buy anything new! This phone just keeps getting better!

Samsung including support for both Qi and PMA in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge is a big deal for several reasons. First, the support is baked into the device and not through some awkward accessory that you pay for after you have the phone (though it is worth pointing out that no wireless charging device is included in the box). Second, there are no accessories necessary for charging wherever you are. Starbucks, McDonalds, those little charging stations at the airport, and the accessory you purchased for your personal use at home will all just work. Once you place your phone on the charging platform, the hardware will detect which charging tech you are using, and the phone will just start charging. No settings, no adjustments, nothing.

In my opinion I think it's better. I find it quicker, and much more fluid with the scrolling. I also have it synced to my Samsung account. I also like being able to go full screen, so no status bar. Chrome doesn't do that for some reason. Full immersive mode should be on all apps. Fingerprint login is more secure and convenient than your browser remembering your pw. This is what you see when logging into sites. So slick. Again, notice no stinkin' status bar on my screen shot.

So I walked into a flagship Tmobile store and they said they would only get the default 32GB option. And not only that, but they would likely only get black and white models.

Whether the rep really knew what was going or not, who knows.

From where? Samsung website?

I'm going with S6, 64GB also, and either the white or gold. I really want to see the gold in person before deciding. In some videos, it looks almost silver cause of the intense reflection, and I'm not sure I like that...

I will order from Verizon on 4/01. That is the first day or pre orders from them. I think delivery is on 4/10 so almost a month to go!

Have they mentioned if the wireless charger will be included? Also if the 10 mins charging -4 hours use refers to wireless or charging via cable?

The wireless charger will be separate. I think the 10 minutes charge to get 4 hours refers to cable. But not totally sure TBH.

Yes. You can not fast charge via wireless.

Wireless charging will be slower than USB even without fast mode on USB.

Slower charging, but no cable. That's the pro & con. There is ALWAYS compromise.

The best thing about wireless charging is you could just plop it down when you're not using your device and it's charging! It otherwise just sit there. Simple and convenient.

I never understood the big draw to wireless charging. So you just place it down vs placing it down and plugging in a cord.

Again, I've never used one though and sure I would get hooked if I did but I am not going down that road!! :)

I think it's one of those things you don't realize you want until you try it and get used to it. I'm pretty excited. Everything I've read about it sounds great. There are even people here who have said they won't get a phone without wireless charging now.

I guess the idea is that you are basically putting your phone's idle time to good use. Instead of just sitting on your table, it's sitting on the charger and is charging. And because there's no cable involved, anytime you need to use it or need to go out with it again, you just pick it right up, as you would if it were just sitting on the table doing nothing. The difference now being that your phone has recharged a bit, maybe even all the way to full capacity depending on how long you've left it idle.

My plan is to buy two. Leave one at work in my office, and one at home. That way, my phone will always be charging anytime I put it down. Essentially, you never have to worry about battery life anymore!

Oh, and another fun fact: Li-ion batteries stay healthier if you charge them periodically throughout the day versus charging them entirely at once say overnight. So theres' that too. ;)

EDIT: Also, if wireless charging really isn't your cup of tea, you can always charge via the cable and put Quick Charging to use. Best of both worlds!

You know what's another thing I can't wait for? The headphone jack being on the bottom again. I hate that it's on top on my OnePlus.

Can I ask why ?

For me its never been an issue whether top or bottom.

Maybe I'm just versatile rather than preferring it solely in the bottom ......
