Gee, no one here ever talks about audio performance. You do listen to music with your new device, don't you? :)

For some eye candy, just use your source music and download Adam Baldych & Heige Lien Trio - Bridges. It is on Spotify, probably everywhere else too.

Any earphones/headphones will do, that is how good it is on my newest toy. :)

The status for my BOGO fast wireless charging pads changed to "Preparing Order for Shipment". I hope that's not a default setting I never paid attention to, and it's really preparing to ship.

Well been using the S7e as my primary now and I have noticed with Vodafone sim in, I am losing about 1 hour - 90 mins SOT compared to 3 Ireland network. Clearly the weaker cellular signal from Vodafone around me is impacting modestly. I'm still getting over 5-5.5 hrs SOT in every day use which is excellent but not reaching 7hrs as I did previous.

I got my replacement Zagg shield too, this time it applied much better, no bubbles. Still not 100% sure about the 'feel' of the Zagg but it looks ok.

I ordered a couple of cases - the Nillkin and the VR Design one here.

Got the s7 edge xtremeguard wet install screen protector. Installed it. Hated it. Back to naked now. May stay here for good. Don't know.

How are those tempered glass ones? Can someone speak in detail?

Not exactly an answer to your question, I've had the edge+ for about 7 months with no screen protector and don't have any visible micro scratches. My Note 4 got a few very small ones after a few months, but this one no.

What didn't you like. Was it like the Zagg, had a kind or ruberized spongey texture ?

I have a tempered glass one coming form Japan. It may take longer than normal to arrive in the post, but ill keep you posted when it arrives.

Consider yourself lucky. My S7 Edge already has a couple of micro scratches that most wouldnt notice but I get a little asinine when it comes to scratches. Can only blame small grains of sand that must have got trapped in my pockets as I am on the beach every day walking.

I bought this one

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CCY1F14/ref=pe_385721_37986871_TE_item

It fits very well and there is a cutout for the logo it shows it covered on the pic

However the contact with the screen is not as 100% as a wet or static one, worse still if you fit a case (I have the clear Samsung back) the pressure from the 4 corners is enough to bow the protector upwards as the sticky contact on the top and bottom silver/gold/black areas is not strong enough, there is a very fine sticky edge along both long sides.

If you have no case it may be ok but I felt the sensitivity was compromised

Damn, now I'm thinking maybe I should have re-bought the S7. That was the plan. Why is this decision so hard?!

Can anyone help please.

I have a signal box from EE as I get poor coverage at home. However, I get 1 bar of 4G at home thus the phone seems to prefer this 1 bar of 4G over 5 full bars of 3G from the signal box.

Is there a way I can get the phone to automatically turn 4G only off based at home and not just mobile data?

If you go into settings. Mobile networks. Network mode. You can choose 2G/3G only.

There's no way of doing that automatically with a toggle but it only takes a few taps to do anyway.

OK, well it looks like after my factory reset I lost my best buy gift card. I tried to register again and says this device isn't eligible. Anyway to get it back? Surprised that info isn't stored in my account.

You should have got an email with the details like card number and pin.

Well, I wasn't planning on getting the S7 but I broke my screen tonight for the first time ever and I noticed the S7 was out. Didn't know that till today. So, I have insurance and I am upgradable as I have TMObiles jump program or whatever it is called now. Just wondering if it is worth it. I can either pay the deductible of I think $130 and get another S6 or get the S7. The only draw for me is the bigger battery and Marshmallow 6.0.
I haven't read thru all these posts and not going to but I went back a few pages. How is the battery life on the S7? I'm not getting the Edge. I want the 5.1" screen. Dont want to go bigger than that.
I also see that the S7 non edge only comes in black and gold. That iritates me as well. I want another white one or something better than ugly gold. I do like the silver edge color.

Thanks for the help so far guys! I have a another question if you can help me out. :)

I use 'Android File Transfer' to drag and drop media files from my Macbook to my S7. It works as attended as video and music appear in their respective apps (VLC, Play Music). My question is, how do I prevent videos from also going into my 'Gallery'? I get a mix of photos and video files which I do not want.

If you use iTunes current, use iSyncr to sync music. It's more reliable and even syncs play lists and supports wireless transfer.

Video, not sure how to exclude an album in gallery at present.

Thanks buddy, I found that. The problem is, I don't want to have to do this every time I leave or return home, also, my other option is to flash to EE's firmware for WiFi Calling and calls via 4G when I have a non-branded unit.

have you tried to see if you can get the EE wifi calling app as an .apk and sideloading it ? Or is it something that's just baked into firmware ?
