I've been wondering this myself. I copied all my iTunes purchased music videos to my S7 Edge and all 250 of them now show in my gallery.Thanks for the help so far guys! I have a another question if you can help me out.
I use 'Android File Transfer' to drag and drop media files from my Macbook to my S7. It works as attended as video and music appear in their respective apps (VLC, Play Music). My question is, how do I prevent videos from also going into my 'Gallery'? I get a mix of photos and video files which I do not want.

Cheers dude. I saw your earlier post, if I flash, do I have to set it up again? I'm coming from long term iPhone use where backups and restores are seamless.
Also, is there much bloat on the carrier FW?
Yeah you will have to have to set it all up again, it will know what apps you had downloaded and will re-download them when you sign in though. However sadly TW doesn't remember your folder / icon setup like a nexus restore.
Carrier bloat is variable. On my Three branded handset I had 4 carrier apps which were all able to uninstall or disable.
There were a few differences such as briefing screen on the three firmware, but on the UK unbranded firmware I have upday instead. So minor differences.
Normally I would use Action Launcher 3, but I've decided to stay with TW launcher albeit the one without an app drawer. I am using material dark theme / icons.
I'm using Nova Prime with Materialistik Icon pack. I'm also using material dark theme from the Samsung theme store to make all the menus and such darker.
No interest in anything Apple announced today. So it's an S7 edge for me on Friday. Looking forward to it.
Google Now Launcher. I don't change the entire theme, but use Icon Changer app (free) to change out a few apps on my home screens. I use Moonshine icons to do this.
Might be close to selling mine. Too many issues w/ calls and texts. I blame T-Mobile more than Samsung for that though. Their engineers are researching into my issues though. Might try a cell spot or a router as a last ditch effort. It sucks having crap signal at home.

Wi-Fi calling is shoddy too. I hate Comcast. Hard time with texts on it too. Don't send out quite often. My iPhone lags a little with messaging on Wi-Fi though.
Is therea quick way to mute the phone without turning on the display? So used to the switch on my iPhone 6.
When you go into the Settings, motions & gesture, if you have the mute setting, there is an option to mute the phone. You either have the palm mute, or device turn.
With device turn, if you put the device face down (front side), it should mute everything. The options may have a slight different name on your device. I have a Note 4.
You'll love it! Pick up a Gear VR as well, lots of fun to play with.
Now that I'm used to handling the s7 edge, I gotta give another shout out to the ergonomics. Now that I am familiar with my way around the phone, the design really needs more praise. But it's unfortunate to have to just say this in words, because...
It's really a different story owning the device, using it everyday as your daily driver, versus reading about it. No amount of reading/watching will do the design appreciative justice.
Admittedly, it takes some learning to handle the device -- new or novel tech usually does. Samsung did its best to help achieve one handed use for the phablet category. And only by owning it, will you know they succeeded.

Samsung pro black colour is a U3 class 10 card. Faster write speed suitable for recording 4k reliably.
Samsung pro grey colour is U1 class 10, suitable for recording 1080p video as it has a slower write speed. But has a 90mb read
Samsung evo is also U1 Class 10, but shares slower write speed and also has a slower maximum read speed.
If you're not recording 4k the latter two cards should suffice.
