Yep. Got both. I now have 2 years of free Netflix. (Bought an S7 and S7 Edge). Both VRs are also being shipped.
been so indecisive whether to switch my 6s to the s7 and was going to impulsively do it now but the VR deal is over and all of that extra goodies that come with the deal so guess I will stick with the 6s... I think the samsung gear S2 is pretty nice compared to the apple watch so wanted to change eco system for that reason too
Same Touch ID as 5S:Yup, Apple only included the same CPU, RAM (you're incorrect--see front page of MR), and camera module as their latest release (arguable 3 of the most important elements of the device), a phone 2 years younger than the 5S. Oh, and it also includes Apple Pay, something else the 5S didn't have (I haven't seen confirmation that it's the same TouchID as the 5S--link please). But really, it's just a 5S.

I've seen conflicting reports on this. Some are saying 1 and some benchmarks say 2. Even Apple doesn't list the RAM on the specs page of the SE. I would figure it has two, since all new iOS products coming out have had at least 2, but considering how big of cheapskates Apple can be, you never know.
The Gear VR isn't that much to buy on it's own. My carrier wasn't doing the free VR deal anyway. They are offering some free bluetooth headphones and the deal doesn't end until the end of April anyway. They are offering a free upgrade after 12 months so I may as well jump on it.
I'm super happy that Hangouts is no longer the laggy mess it was on the s6. The s6 flew everywhere else but Hangouts.
On the s7, Hangouts is finally smooth and fast. It's amazing to see no lag in an app I'm so used to seeing lag.
Ditto other things like text editing. So much faster and smoother now.

Yeah and maybe it'll sell even more if the carriers all did the buy one get one free promo they're doing for the s7.
I think they probably will. Right now you can get a BOGO for the iPhone 6s on AT&T. Verizon has run BOGO for the iPhone 6s as well. Heck it's even here on MR if you took the time to look....

They have, but rarely is it so soon after introduction of the phone. It is always after a few months have passed.
yep agreed....but in the end...they all get reported the same way in the sales data.
Got my confirmation email last night. Got my Netflix code in the email, and a ship date of 4/18 for the VR.
I only got one of the two codes for my two S7 Edges.

Did you file the devices separate? Two separate claim numbers? If you did, you will probably have another email coming.
Yes, they are separate. I just used the same email for each. I received each phone a week apart. Both phones were approved for the offers.

I bought a Logitech K400 Plus Keyboard/Touchpad hybrid with the $30 Best buy card. Works flawless on my Samsung SmartTV, Xbox One, MBP, Acer notebook, and with the S7 edge.
I highly recommend it if you don't know what to do with that $30.

Works excellent. The onscreen pointer and shortcuts work well, and the pointer and scrolling work good within the internet browser.
A bit further round the corner we at least got the VR
Look on the bright side we also did not get all those pre-installed carrier goodies they have in the US
Well some got the VR. Ireland's two main networks combined for a lousy 100 units between them, which is frankly a bit of a joke. Whilst stocks last has never rung so hollow ...

Q1. So I've gone back to basic mode display colour wise. Anyone else using anything other than default adaptive display setting ?
Q2. Is anyone else using the no app drawer option and how are you adjusting ?
I'm actually really happy with it. One of my gripes with TW has been the insistence of the app drawer icon on the right of the dock rather than centre. As a lefty it always bugged me. Also the other thing I've always done with app drawers is micro manage them, having to put stuff into folders. Organise where things are, essentially you end up managing and arranging not only home screens but app drawer, which is essentially doing a job twice. Now I'm using no app drawer I'm finding I only have to manage my apps once. I thought I'd miss it on android but after two or three days I adjusted and prefer it now.
