I received the Gear VR today, even though the email stated April 1. So you guys might also get it much sooner.
Hope it gets worked out for you. I haven't had a sd card issue like that one. Lets us know how it goes for you.....My S7 is giving me problems. Whenever I try to move an app to the SD card it tells me the SD card is full (I have a 200GB card, with 90GB free), then it freezes and restarts. Also, I noticed some of my game app icons have reverted to the android icon, and instead of the name of the game it's the file name, as if it's been deleted. In addition, I noticed yesterday, the weird volume issue I had with my S6 where the media volume would randomly mute itself, and then get really loud. I'm taking it back to T-mobile tomorrow, but I don't know if I'm going to do an exchange or return.![]()
They've been doing bogo for iPhone since the launch of the 6s. That promo was led by ATT.Yeah and maybe it'll sell even more if the carriers all did the buy one get one free promo they're doing for the s7.
That means the system is not reading the SD card for the app. You have to go into system memory and SD card memory, delete the app data and reinstall the app.My S7 is giving me problems. Very interesting. Could this be the processor or the carrier software?
I wonder if the unbranded euro variant has problems working in the usa.
There were a good amount of posts from people in the US using the 920f gs6 and saying they had cell issues even though the phone has all the bands for att/tmobile. I was close to pulling the trigger but I was too scared.
This year I bet more geeks will look into it because of the whole bootloader thing, along with that video, and quicker updates
but no Samsung pay and probably no volte + WiFi calling

Don't forget you can have folders on the edge

Yes it means your not limited to your top 10 however you can't use the icon changer app (posted earlier) on the edge screen as the new icons do not show up on the selection screen, unless someone knows what directory to place them in so they are found ?I didn't even realize that.![]()

I also have some of the EHZ Studio paid edge apps (Call Logs, messages, File explorer, Quick settings) they are all a bit laggy and seem to need to refresh far too often and the file explorer locks up, most are customisable (colours/transparency) to a degree, some more than others but the quick settings has none you are stuck with the blue and white icons.
I would not recommend current versions, here's 2 locked up and white/blue icons

I purchased the messages edge, just to give it a try. It's a little buggy, but a good start. Shame about the file explorer, I was going to try that next.
Kind of, it's hard to hold on to and use the screen at the same time sometimes because of the curve. So today I had to take some photos while up on a latter, and it was very difficult because it wasn't registering my taps of the shutter button because I was touching the sides, and because of the position I was in I was afraid to drop it if I moved my grip back. I managed to position myself so I could tap the volume buttons with my other hand, but then I felt like I was going to fall.So just about every podcast I'm listening to where somebody has an S7 Edge has them saying they dropped it (one of them even from only about 4-5 inches) and cracked it already. Is this is a big issue? Is it really that hard to keep hold of?

I have dropped it twice, we'll maybe 3 times, but both times I dropped it I had set it down on a table and knocked down on to tile. The 3rd it seems like my daughter dropped it, she's gotten into the habit of going in my room and grabbing it in the morning off the charger. So far I have 3 dings from my drops on the metal edge and there is one chip and 2 scratches from my daughter, one on the back and one up front. No cracks though.
Here some pics of the carnage. Both my drops came from about 3-4 ft on to tile. My daughters I assume was also on tile, and since she's a toddler probably from around 1-2 ft high. The scratches came from her drop too, as after mine I looked and didn't see any.
I guess, but what's wierd is that the snapdragon is being benchmarked better, so it seems that there might be going something on with software. It also doesn't explain why the snapdragon version had to reload apps more often than the Exynos.Likely the processor difference. The carrier software shouldn't impede it very much - my S7e came with carrier software. After debranding with a unbranded firmware it - speed wise and benchmarks are identical - albeit it just doesn't have the few carrier apps it came with prior. So I doubt carrier software impeded overall speed of a device. However the processor differences would likely have greater impact.
That being said this is a non issue for most as simply those in the USA don't get to choose which processor they get, and likewise those in Europe. So which SKU is faster or 'better' is irrelevant when the choice is out of your hands.
Under normal circumstances it isn't, but it is trickier than a normal non curved phone. I also don't like to use cases, though I will be getting a cheap one I can slap on it when needed.I don't think it's hard to grip and with the clear back case from Samsung it protects it from those little mishaps and helps stop false palm taps IMO
