VRS design case arrived
The lip of the front of the case is causing havoc with the Zagg shield. Likewise the funky back, creates a kind of shininess against the rear glass of the device when pressed.

It can ... but not by 40 + seconds. And at the end of the day all tests regardless of what they are (camera / speed tests etc..) can all be manipulated or fundamentally affected by tester variables. Very few of these tests results are actually 100% 'scientific'. They are all based on basic set parameter but then at the mercy of the tester and their own interpretation of the result, and we all know interpretations can be very different - even in the scientific community.
All the video seems to indicate to me is that there is some throttling on the 820. Is it the end of the world or a deal breaker? Not really, as buyers wont be comparing these SKU's side by side as there is only one sku (SOC) option for their region; making the comparison merely of curiosity/interest - but one that has no 'purchase' implications in the real world.
When we have a choice of which SKU to buy - then a video like this may have some impact on your purchasing decision. However as it stands it doesn't. If you are in the USA / Canada and want to buy the S7 or S7e, want full carrier support (LTE bands, Wifi Calling etc..) you will be getting the 820 model regardless.

Full of variables that test, about as un-scientific as you can get. I really don't buy these 'lap' tests one bit as if they take longer to press a single app it affects the results.
Just saying.
