Does it bother anyone that this S7 doesn't have the shiny mirror-like front and back panels like the S6 (which look great)?

It could be a prototype, but what do you guys think?

If we're referring to that image.. That's the antutu 'score' for the RAM - not the amount of RAM ...
Ahh, thanks for the clarification. I think a lot of us were confused by that, even MKBHD (from his Twitter).

Could be one of those things which looks and handles better in real life than in photos. I wasn't a fan of the curved back of the Note 5 either, but then I held one in a carrier shop and was impressed by how well the back of the phone contoured to my hand and how comfortable it felt to hold despite its size.

It's possible, though from what I can tell in the pictures, they seem to have gone back to regular colors rather than shiny ones.

I was a fan of the shiny ones, especially the blue.

Is it just me, or does the back look kind of concave to you? Could just be the lightning and shadows and smudges and all though.

No, it's not just you, I see that, too. It looks like the front of an Apple Watch, only that it's the back (don't really mind that part).

Also, not really a fan of the asymmetry between the front camera and the earpiece (it's much too high).

I'm surprised they haven't yet adopted the dual-tone flash, especially considering several flagship phones have had them since 2014.

Yeah, I'd like to hear Samsung's reason for putting a heart rate scanner on a phone and not putting a proper flash.

That S7 edge looks fugly. Samsung ruined probably one of the best looking phones ever made in the S6 Edge and turned it into one of the ugliest. The curves at the top and bottom of the screen make the whole phone look retarded.

The S6 (non edge) was already ugly but a curved bottom instead of a flat bottom will make it look worse.

Forget specs if those pics are correct.

I thought Samsung finally sorted out their design division as well.

Samsung needs to trim down some of their features. I don't want a heart rate monitor on my phone tbh.

I just noticed the curves on the back. Hmm I think this years version looks better. Wonder if they think it solves the camera not being on the surface.

It's thicker for the 3000 mag battery, I assume.

I'm all for this. More battery. And probably better ergonomics. The almost-flushed camera is just a bonus.

I actually like the heart rate monitor.

Anyway I think the S7 will be the best phone ever, as long as the camera is good enough (i.e. comparable to the S6).

I'm really getting tired of Samsung's front design on their phones. The logo on the front is not needed anymore, and the cheesy chrome speaker grille on top needs to be changed to black or color of the phone, and the bottom home button, needs to get rid of the chrome around it, looks cheap.

I have to say, Apple makes the front of their phone look slick, with no branding or cheesy shiny parts on the front either. Same with the Nexus line, and OnePlus line too.
