Even better, Samsung should implement a similar "Uh-oh" program. 1 free replacement.

Uh-oh isn't available via the carriers though. If you buy from Tmo/Verizon/Sprint for the HTC 10, you don't get it. They want to sell their own insurance to you. Until you can get an unlocked functional Samsung direct device in the US, this likely won't be possible.

“Eligible Product” means a Product intended to be sold in the United States that is (i) a new HTC 10 mobile device purchased from HTC.com on or after April 29, 2016 and prior to October 29, 2016;

so, who is carrying this beauty naked???
atm, I have a Spigen Ultra Thin wrapped around it, but to be honest...I really really hate cases/covers.
I have a dbrand skin comming my way, so hopefully it gives a bit more grip then naked.
Yep mine is completely naked, not even a screen protector. Ive got insurance anyway so why not :)

The s7e is the first smartphone where I'm not actively paying attention to or checking my battery life.
Even on my regular S7 i don't need to worry about the battery at all. Its lasts a full day of very heavy usage no problems.

Any good sources for QHD or higher resolution wallpapers? I'm finding Zedge doesn't always have the highest resolutions.

What's everybody's daily screen on time like

I have 10 widgets going and wanted to test the difference in screen on time with only my clock and ok Google widget

With my normal widgets I got 5 hours, 40 mins on screen time

With 17 hours total

Good to hear as I hear some people on xda saying they get 8 or 9 hours and I'm like how!! Seems impossible

I never got anything like that myself. All I can assume is some people have screen brightness around 30% and auto brightness turned off. (which for me is too low) and turn off things like bluetooth and such.

Personally I always leave auto brightness on with the slider at around 75-80% at least most of the time. I am on wifi at home 5ghz, and on 3/4g LTE when out and about. I don't use power save features and neither have I used package disabler app either.

To be honest If I wanted a phone where I have just apps on my homescreen I would of just stuck with my 6s plus. I got the edge for things like widgets and not to turn off features that make android what it is. So will no doubt be putting all my normal widgets back on later and see far on testing battery life isn’t much difference.

With 63% left I’ve on 2 hours, 25 mins screen on time with 6 hours total so far.

My android system is always high though. Always in the 20's % wise

On every android device only widget that I use is weather widget. I simply find no use for other widgets at all. Gimmick in my use scenario, but not everyone is the same of course :)

Personally I like using some mainly for sports news where I can click to see the stories without needing to go into the app and for live sports for the same reason. Just quick access really. I have had too many in fairness with alot thats not needed. As I know too many can slow down your device.

I am getting between 5 to 6 hours SOT routinely. I think the people getting 7 hours are probably the Exynos versions. Maybe some are rooted and running custom Roms. Then there are a lot of variables like display brightness level and LTE signal strength and wifi. What apps your using as some are more power hungry than others. Outside use with auto brightness turned on kills battery as it usually goes to full brightness so you can see. I got 7 hours the other day working from home on wifi and was ecstatic but I know it was not the norm.

My experience is, it has little to do with full brightness vs auto or lowered, unless you have the brightness extremely low.

I've notice differences in SOT depending on what I'm doing the majority of SOT. If the majority of my SOT is watching a movie or playing the average game, I'll get very close to 7 hours. If the majority is on the browser and most other apps, I'll get close to 6.

Weird thing is wifi at home i get far better on screen time than on wifi at work.

On 3 hours, 30 mins screen time with 38% left.

I get about 8 hrs SOT with my edge (exynos). When I use my phone sparingly, I get about 5 1/2 hrs over 2 days usage.

I don't think it's the exynos fully (though likely does offer an improvement over sbapdragon), there has to be other variables playing a part, as I've never got over 6:30 and that was with WiFi only (no sim inserted) so there has to be other variables affecting it.

You have said you are in a low signal area so that will affect battery life a great deal. Then if you have display set to auto brightness and are outside...it turns the display up to full brightness and that is the biggest battery killer.

Are you using a sim card, what brightness levels (auto brightness / manual ?)

sim card, auto brightness adjusted to my preferences (50% in normal lightning, slightly dimmer in dark lighting, full brightness when outdoors), 3 widgets, about 70/30 LTE to wifi usage.
