I'm also naked here and there with a Zagg front and back. One thing is that my chubby hands always get in the way of the screen so I do get some erroneous presses here and there. A case does away with that though....Loving this phone so far. I actually feel bad bashing Samesucks for all these years. Battery has been stellar, camera is amazing, and Im loving all of the themes and customization....things I missed with not having a jailbreak. All we need is root for all of the little minor tweaks. Package Disabler Pro helped immensely in getting rid of the bloatware and removing the gaming stuff that severely bogged down games. Waiting on WWDC and seeing what iOS 10 brings to the table now...
I have a Note 4 but I still miss:
- flexibility of iMessage for sending pictures/video
- photo app
- overall iOS apps looks nicer than most Android app.
- mail app is better than everything I tried so far on Android (gmail, inbox, cloudmagic)
pros of my Samsuck:
- battery is good
- camera is also good (but I dislike the software). I tried not using samsung's camera app but there is a different in picture quality when I don't use the samsung app. For best results, I need to use the Samsung's app.
cons of my Samsuck:
- when I need to send a picture (which are always too big), I edit them inside gallery, it saves a stupid copy of the picture I just cropped, I open SMS app, send cropped picture, go back to gallery and delete the duplicate it created.
- permissions. There are plenty of old app that doesn't support Marshmallow security model, by default most of them ask for stupid permission (like contact, sms, phone permissions).
- weird things happen when I hold the phone without intentionally using it. Icons are moving to different page and things like that. I have difficulty of holding it without pressing the side power button and then a mess happen.
- bloatware
- several apps for same purpose
- slow update cycle for patches.
- samsung doesn't update touchwiz (still have no theme support on mine) even If I got the marshmallow update yesterday.
I was tempted by the S7, but I would have the same cons as today. Their new messaging apps announced at GoogleIO looked great but it still doesn't integrate SMS, and only a small fraction of people will install it.
