There will be pretty good preorder deals going on at Best Buy I was told today.

Reps cannot say anything yet specifically obviously but I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. By the way the rep was acting it almost seems it will be pretty soon that they will have these on display, again nothing concrete but I just got a sense by the way he was acting.

Yup, those too. Honestly, outside a complete design change, upgrades really don't get better than this.

Seriously. This is shaping up to be the best year-over-year upgrade I've ever seen for any smartphone. Hitting nearly all the right notes, directly addressing the shortcomings of the s6.

The few minor hiccups in my opinion are:

-no USB c
-possibly no larger internal storage beyond 32gb.

SD card is not really too my interest. Leaner TW, will believe it when I see it. Larger battery depends what strains there is on it from the phone, may actually be no better off at the end.

Yep... My S6 still has no hint of Marshmallow!

My philosophy is slightly changing over time - the most important thing is that the phone works well, and it does. But it's still sloppy from Samsung.

No usbc is no big deal.I have a charger in living room,bedroom,work and in 2 of my cars.I would need to buy 4 chargers and still keep my regular chargers around for my girls phone.

Might I see one from a manager carrying it today at BB's mobile dept after the announcement? I would not be surprised to tell the truth. And I'm not sure when preorders start buy it sure seemed like from my experience in the store yesterday it may even be today.

No mention about the GS7E having a pressure sensitive display. Does that mean the Edge might not have it due to dual curved displays? That will be a bummer. Or does Samsung not want to put it on their boxes?

Force touch is a silly gimmick so it's good Samsung left it out. Can imagine how clumsy it would be with one-handed use while stretching across a large screen.

You don't actually this specifically but there is an app in the store for the event entitled "unpacked 360 view". More neat if you have Gear VR to view.
