From what I have read, I believe so. The s6 edge and edge plus will be getting the expanded edge features and etc. It looks likes its all there, minus specific features like the always on display, etc. Its nice to see samsung finally update the software this way, rather then leaving older models with outdated looks. I imagine its easier to just updated all the models with the same software design.
Anyway, I believe I am going with the Silver. Black looks to "deathed" out for me....but I image i will look brilliant with the display. Ill probably change my mind a few times between the silver and black, before my preorder.
I thought the blue was great too, yet other complained it wasn't black. Can't make everyone happy I guess.

The S4 launched in this dark grey color that had a blue-ish tint. That would be fine with me too

Holy crap I wish I could +1008176 this! It will NEVER look as cool as an iPhone until they take all logos away from the front. While we're at it can we get rid of the chrome around the home button? And maybe a black aluminum option for the surround? Assuming it has a glass back. Does anyone know if they are keeping the glass back or making it all aluminum?
IMO Google got it right with the 6p. Nice black aluminum look, no 2 tone surround or gaudy chrome anywhere to be found, and no logo on the front.
I guess we won't really see official reviews until closer to March 11th?

I imagine we won't see many proper reviews until it's launch date. It's quite clear from previews that they are being constrained & controlled by NDA's. A common practice, not Samsung isolated. But because of that constraint we won't see reviews until close to review day with 'favourable' media getting preferential disclosure dates whilst reviewers like Erica Griffin will be a week or two after release and then we will find out about any chinks.
Thanks for that link. I think I will take a look at the S7, it has the right features but it's weather it's too big for me. I do like the new Sony Xperia X phone design styles, wouldn't buy one but it gives a good indication of what the next Z6 Compact will look like, the auto tracking of the camera is cool too.
That white is stunning, the way the light reflects off it. Is it pearl, or just the way the light reflects? The black one is very nice from the front, except of course the ever gaudy Samsung logo. Thankfully they got rid of the blue and now it's a nice beautiful black front and back. Do my eyes deceive me, or is there no chrome surround on the home button on the black model? All it needs is to get rid of the Samsung logo, and a darker option for the aluminum frame.
Makes me excited for the Note 6.
I noticed the same thing on the Black S7 Edge. So the freak that I am, I looked up every picture and stop every video clip, and blew up each pic, one by one, and after dozens and dozens of these hands on review, I can YES, Samsung finally ditched that cheesy chrome ring around the home button, and made it black, as well as the silly shiny speaker grille on the top, now being black too. Yes the SAMSUNG logo is still there, but looks to be a more muted less shiny logo now. So overall it is a much cleaner better looking front now.
But this only seems to be for the black phone, the others aren't like that.
My edge plus got one the end of Dec. 15 If I recall..Hey my gs4 gpe is on latest feb '16 security update (only 5.1 but still that would suffice on tw models)

Wait these things are 700 and 800 dollars?? Holy efff.... yeah I'll stick with my 6p for like half the price. But the hype was fun.
